So there's this new guy in my life, we're not officially together but I like him and he REALLY likes me! We care about each other a lot and we'll most likely be together officially by christmas time. The thing is, he's a muslim. I'm not very religious, but I'm a christian none the less and I celebrate christmas. He says this year he'll celebrate it with me.
I really want to get him somehing nice to show him I care about him. He's Arabic, from Yemen, and moved here 5 years ago. But he misses Yemen, I'm thinking maybe I could get him something that has to do with his home. I don't know.

I was raised Christian, but my mother -- and all of her family -- are Jewish. I was given a Jewish naming ceremony, but also a Christian baptism. I have members of my family on my mother's side who lived through the Holocaust, and some members who died in concentration camps, and some members who were burned alive in their temple by Nazis. Conversely, my father's family is German, so I also have ancestors who were Nazis (not of their own volitions, but Nazis all the same). Leeds: Problems with mother in law that need to be solved asap. Please help!?
My mother in law has known that her lease is going to be up at the end of the year and now with less than a month left to find a place to live, all she keeps saying is that God is going to take care of it. The thing is I know God isn't going to fix all her problems just because she prays, that's unrealistic.
The problem I have isn't with her or her religion though, it's that we all know if she doesn't find a place to live soon she's going to have to stay with us in our cramped townhouse with our dog and baby. Its just not going to work. My husband and me and her other son have tried helping her find a place to live and a job to prevent this but she keeps saying...
