Leeds: I don't have a job and don't want one. is this wrong?
I just want to walk the earth and sleep under the stars. I don't care if I live or die. I just want to see the milky way in all it's beauty and become one with the earth. dust to dust. no use fighting disease and old age. those things are inevitable....

Leeds: Vegan beauty products at walmarts?
hello, I'm a beginning vegan after a year of being vegetarian. Both my parents work at Walmarts and do not allow me to shop in the internet, in fact they insist that i shop there. I do not have a job so i rely on them for money (i'm 15). I was checking my beauty products and i realized that my dove body lotion and shampoo as well as several of others i use are not vegan. Do you know of any vegan beauty products at Walmart? (don't tell me just to go to the mall, my parents are poor and i can't really afford a fancy 20 dollar shampoo, most of these products cost less than $5) well i try not to. I make most of my own clothes and check if everything is organic and cruelt...

Leeds: Thinking about starting my life off in Europe. Recommendations?
Let's split it down into 3 categories: -Visual beauty/Weather -Social attitude and personalities and -Financial/Economical soundness I'm planning on flying to Europe for the first time relatively soon. Mainly to see if I would prefer living there as to here in the U.S. From what I understand, most of Europe is visually beautiful. I'd like lots of green and differing terrain throughout the country, etc.. This one is pretty easy to fulfill and find out for myself. As far as social happiness and attitude goes, is there places that are more friendly than others? I'm pretty well aware, for example, that the French for the most part dislike us. I don't...

Leeds: requiring a manicurist to be there with no pay?
i work at a salon in southern california, and i am on commission. when i was hired they SWORE there were tons of walk ins and people calling constantly for appointments. my last check, for 2 weeks of work, was $29... hmmm... they keep saying that it takes time to build a clientelle, which i understand, but it's been over a year... the salon owner requires that we are at social events she organizes, she makes us work a set schedule of at least 24 hours per week and i had to do about 300 manicure/pedicures as free services for a promotion she did. now, i took the day before thanksgiving off to have an early thanksgiving with family, and one person called in and she threw a fit. she called...

Leeds: Why are people not capable of figuring things out for themselves? (see more)?
People from birth are taught in a one way do not question I am a higher authority method (television, teachers, parents). Media only projects what it wants its viewers to believe, teachers force whatever information is contained in a book in front of them down your throat, parents force you to go along with whatever is being told in society. These are understandable reasons why people are automated monkeys & only learn their jobs to automate themselves then keep up with what they are told is of their interest (women - beauty products/enhancements, men - cars & guns) but it would seem that somewhere along the way someone other than the few that have already would...

Leeds: Job is considered to be much older than even Genesis...? ) read more?
The deity in the book of Job seems to far transcend the scales of human value, It is difficult by human standards to see the beauty or virtue of a Deity that would draw Lucifer's destructive attention to job, allow him to become diseased, suffer the death of his entire family, and lose all him worldly comforts. The historical opinion of many scholars is that Job is possibly many thousands of years older than even Genesis. It is simply not possible to date the book. Does it seem reasonable that Job may be worshiping a different G-d, and there is also the question of Lucifer, frequently regarded as an earlier incarnation of Satan. Is there any support for the belief that there is any conn...

Leeds: Moving to Anchorage, Alaska in January, I have some questions!?
I've been reading through the posts on here and most of them regarding moving to Alaska (Anchorage municipality) have been very informative and helpful, but I just have a few questions that are more specific to my situation. 1. We are leaving in January, and the car my roommate has now is in no way fit to drive around in Alaska (regardless of how often they clear the snow). We will be flying into Anchorage and hope to find an INEXPENSIVE but moderately safe vehicle, that will last at least for temporary inner-city use only while job hunting and exploring the town. Any recommendations for used car places (or types) besides Craigslist? (which we do plan on utilizing). Also, how much d...

Leeds: would you read? is this stupid? does it make sense? can you see the scene?
Grandma’s basement was ancient, dark, dank, and filled with who knows (or wants to) what. Boxes, trunks, and bins of every size and shape were scattered across the floor, lining the walls, and towering from to the ceiling. It was exactly four days after Grandma’s funeral and mom was devastated. She couldn’t even walk into Grandma’s house, let alone sort through all her junk, so that job was left up to me. My directions exactly: “Sort out her stuff: keep, sell, throw away.” How I was possibly supposed to discern what was worth selling and what needed to be kept, I have no clue. Looking back, it probably all should have been thrown away, but nowadays details like that are irrelevan...
