Keswick: Should I file for bankruptcy?
I am 19 years old and I have two kids. (No judging on that part) I am pregnant with 3rd and I am with the father but we make very little money. I was on birth control so don't ask why I am pregnant when I can't afford it. I started school last feb and now I have been withdrawn because it was internet schooling and my computer stopped working in the middle of my 3rd term so I couldn't get into my classes. Anyway
now I have to pay the money back from student loans and I don't have any way of paying them since I don't have a degree or a job. It's over 9,000 dollars in that alone. We have NO money right now. Also due to me being irresponsible (I took the advice of... 04 Dec 08, 01:12:54

Keswick: Where should I work as a student?
This coming spring semester I will be enrolling in full time classes. It will be my freshman year and financial aid will be paying for everything. I need to find a job that will fit my school schedule and allow me to get decent hours in or pay so I can make ends meet.
I can't stand doing classes at night, so the earlier is the better. Working afternoons or nights isn't a big problem for me.
I have been in food service, and it has had its pros and cons. In the past I have only held food handling or bus boy jobs, since I cannot serve alcohol. Bussing can really suck ass at certain places if they get busy enough, but the tips were nice. These jobs feel constantly stressful sin... 04 Dec 08, 12:12:46
Keswick: I feel like I'm allowing my youth to pass me by. It makes me sad.?
I feel like I'm so much more conservative than my peer college students, like I don't go out as much, i don't shop as much, I just am not as social as they are, I don't dress as stylish as they do. I'm not someone to jump at every chance to go out either especially if I don't care for the occasion. I currently have a good job that pays me well. So I have this part of my life going for me, but I feel like all I'm doing is working like a stay at home mom, which I'm not. Thinking about this really makes me sad sometimes. I feel like I'm letting my youth drain away. What should I do?... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:49

I'm about to start teaching a grade 6 class in January, and I'm not sure what name I should use for my classroom helpers.
For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, each week, 2 students are assigned (using a roster so it's fair) the job of being the classroom helpers for the week. This includes things like running errands, answering the classroom phone, handing out workbooks etc. When I taught younger year levels I would call this 'helping hands' and get the students to each decorate a paper hand with their name on it, and the appropriate hands would get stuck up on the board each week. But the helping hands idea seems a bit lame for grade 6.
