I am a pharmacy major at St. Johns University and am not doing so well in the pharmacy classes. I am in my third year and already have numerous science courses under my belt. I want to switch to a major where i dont have to start from scratch. I wanna get in our middle school's girls basketball team, but they have a cut. We just did the first part of our try-out this afternoon and I'm not sure if I did well. One of the coaches told me to be more assertive and said I was tall, nice, but he kept saying good job to people who came no matter what, so I'm not sure if that was just being polite or a true encouragement. I got contacted by some guy saying he found my resume online and wants me to come to a meeting this upcoming saturday. I asked him if they were in the mortgage business (which is my area) and he said they do all sorts of things. I did a little research and found there are some pyramid type scams out there. Has anyone else been contacted by Primerica with a similar situation? I just don't want to waste a whole Saturday morning to drive 30 miles away only to find out its not really a job opportunity.
