Keswick: A question for the Military Recruiters out there...?
Ok, so I'm a female whos in the delayed entry program right now, and i leave to boot camp in two and a half months. My problem is there are only 4 available jobs (Radio Operator, Aviation Mechanic, that Humvee driver thing, and Ground Option) and none of them are anything I'm excited about.
I have Aviation right now, but I was wondering if i where to say write the Marines recruiting command down in Quantico, VA a letter arguing for another mos? Would it work?
I can have any job i want in the Marines with my asvab scores apparently, and would prefer anything in intel, linguistics or military police.
Do you think i have a shot in hell to actually get this to work? And any suggest... 19 Nov 08, 11:11:29

Keswick: My bosses messed up my life, health and happiness?
I worked for a small business for 6 years.
This was an aviation business
A total of approximately 30 employees.
All were men except for 3 females in the office.
The business was sold in Dec 2007.
Two men purchased the company.
As soon as the new owners took over everything immediately changed.
My position with the company was office manager/ in house accountant. I was paid very well.
The new owners would constantly use profanity around us females. They would make remarks about our sexual preferences, our butts.
They even ask me to have sex with one of the customers They would tell us we were F...ing stupid, or shut the F... up and listen. These are only a few of the remarks that... 17 Nov 08, 11:11:57

Keswick: College Major for Corporate pilots?
I am currently a freshman at Embry Riddle. I am in the Aeronautical Science (professional pilot) degree program. I am looking for a little advice. I feel like this degree is almost a “waste”. I have heard the airlines and corporations really do not care what type of degree you have. Is that true? I eventually want to fly corporate and get into the business side of aviation…eventually a desk job (maybe). Should I switch majors and start a business degree with a flight minor. I will still attain all of my ratings upon graduation. Basically, I am asking if you think I will be okay without all the extra meteorology, crew resource management, FMS programming e.t.c. courses. Thank y... 15 Nov 08, 11:11:35
