Jersey: Moving to the Cayman Islands which areas to live and stay away from?
I am moving to the Cayman Islands I am just waiting for approval of my immigration paperwork at this point. I have done a lot of research on the island. But, there are some things I can not find answers to. 1. What are the areas that I should not live in being a single woman? (My job is in GT) 2. My company is putting me in a hotel for 2 weeks while I look for a place What happens to all of my personal belongings while I am in a hotel? 3. Since, I will be in a hotel for 2 weeks is there an easy way to get my belongings to the hotel besides paying an extra baggage fee at the airport? If anyone can help answer these questions or offer any other advice that would be greatly appreci...

Jersey: help on moving to cuba?
I'm moving to cuba this winter, and i need any help that can be offered, especially in terms of work. I understand that i may go for 60 days and stay with a local family at a casa particular, and also that a person gets their visa at the airport upon arrival. during those 60 days, can i try to obtain a job there? i'm wondering if it's like Canada in that regard, where i can look for a job, and if i find an employer willing to take me, then i can apply for long term residency. i'm also an amateur boxer, and i'd like to spend a lot of time in the gyms there, learning the Cuban boxing style, at places like Trejo gym. i will NOT be a tourist. The heart, morals, values an...

Jersey: What do I do? I need help?
With zero notice, my common-law husband left me on the weekend. One day we were making plans to go on holiday in a few weeks (we even bought our flights) and the very next day he said he was leaving and less than an hour later he was gone to the airport. I'm a complete wreck. He was depressed and he had to leave this city (we moved here a year ago). He said he had to move on but he won't say anything other than that. I emailed him once but otherwise haven't heard from him. What should I do? Should I give him space? Should I email him and tell him how he hurt me? I know we both had things to work on but we had a great relationship - he just didn't know how to share h...

Jersey: MA degree in Middle East Studies and cant find a job!?
OK so I didnt go all the way thru to the PhD, but come on! This thing has to be good for something! Ive applied at all colleges in my area, but the turnover in teaching is so bad. Ive also applied at all language schools for Arabic, even asked them if they were interested in adding it, but it seems they all want me to be a linguist or native speaker. I tried an Islamic school, but they seem to want me to have a teaching credential (I was kind of offended since I have my Masters degree and have taught college age students.) Im starting now to look into jobs at the airports working for airlines, but there's nothing! What have I not thought of?...
