Italy: How do I get started in teaching English abroad?
I have a BSE in ELA Secondary Education and am currently working towards a MSE in the same field. I would like to teach English overseas as a foreign language for a year or two before I settle down in the states. What steps should I take towards this goal? With my credentials and background in teaching English (only practicum and student internship thus far), do I still need to obtain a TEFL certificate (such as the CELTA)? I know it's not specifically a requirement for many countries, but it almost essential, correct? Also, instead of investing in a TEFL course here, is it possible to wait until I am hired to see if they will provide the course there (and pay for it)? What are m...

Italy: Important question about career/schooling future?
I'm definitely going to college...no doubt about it. I'm almost done with my high school career, and sincerely hoping to be valedictorian. I'm in all honors classes, every accelerated class my school offers, and take every available AP class and have never gotten an average below a 90 since i started my schooling. My GPA is averaging around 3.95, i write great essays and am a general over-achiever. my question is, what profession should i go into? i need something that will keep my mind occupied and busy, + something that makes a lot of money to support my lifestyle (ie over 150K, more like 200K). i have been thinking about going into the medical field, but i dont know wh...

Italy: For muslims living in UK. A question of happiness?
For those of you born and living in the UK, who are also muslim, how many of you feel like you belong here, in the sense that, you're comfortable with UK society, culture etc. Or do you have a longing to go back to your home country, or parents country of origin. Do you feel happy here, like you fit in? I'm asking this because i'm considering taking up a job in my own country even though i've lived here my entire life. I'm 21 years old and i don't hate this country or anything like that. I just don't feel happy here. just wondering is anyone else is the same? Partly, it's also to do with the whole brain drain thing. Everyone who gets a half dece...

Six months later I met my now husband who is the most amazing man in the world my ex found out about this and caused us so much grief he didn’t want us but nobody else could have us either. he took me to court to get a parental responsibility order and a contact order even though I had never stopped any contact when he could be bothered which was hardly ever. Italy: IS A BUSINESS MAJOR WITH A CONCENTRATION IN MARKETING A GOOD MAJOR?
I'm in international business (freshman) and was thinking of switching to marketing before it's too late. I'm only in international business because my mom thought it was best for me, but I want to do marketing. If I am fluent in three-five languages by the end of college (four years), graduate with a marketing major, and want to eventually be an entrepreneur, would this allow me to get a good job? Or would international business still be better? I know I should follow my heart, but in my case I really need to follow the path to filling my wallet. lol. I want to get married and settle down which is another reason I am worrying over international business...I...
