Isle Of Skye: punctuation help please?
Secondly, being involved in the criminal justice field is a risk itself. Being a private investigator is even more of a dangerous job then an ordinary police officer. A private investigator job is to investigate on individuals they believe are or have committed a crime; therefor, this might involve following suspects around and watching them closely with at times no protection or a gun. Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center online site says “Private Investigators generally do not use firearms on the job they may carry a gun if an assignment warrants the need for one”. According to Bureau of Labor Statistics Website they state work can be very dangerous because of the awkward hours during...

Isle Of Skye: Which job should I take?
I currently work for a fitness center, as a babysitter for children while parents are working out. It's a small gym, so I see the same children each week pretty much. The problem is, it is only a part-time position. I am starting college classes soon (online) and I will need to cover my health insurance soon. I really really love this job, and I've been crying a lot when I think about quitting it. I sought out a full-time nanny position and I've been offered the position. It pays well and they will offer health insurance. I just feel like I will lose so much if I quit my current job - relationships with the parents and children, great co-workers, gym benefits, and I am one ...

Isle Of Skye: Time to move on? What do I do?
I've been working in a stable, decent-paying job for 2 years now, though I have been increasingly hating it. It's a call center, tech-support, and as I've gotten to know the people who have been there longer than myself, it's a dead end job - and it doesn't help that with the state of the economy, the higher ups have been asking us to do more - double duty, overtime, etc. and with no increase in pay. I would really like to find a new position that is more technically challenging - I'll be finished with my masters in IT next year - and ideally, move to a different state to be closer to friends (stuck with parents and zero friends in the area... it's quit...

Isle Of Skye: what's her problem? ?
I asked my mom if I could volunteer at an animal shelter earlier this week, she said that i was being self-centered because I relied on her for transportation and the place isn't exactly right down the street. She said I needed to get a job instead. I was upset..but I accepted it. So the other day I found an opening at K-Mart for cashier and I tried to apply online. I asked her for my social security number because that's what it asked for, and she said that she wasn't going to give it to me because I would still have to rely on her for transportation and she doesn't know what hours she'll be working at a part-time job she was planning to get. i tell her that there w...

I am a new hygiene graduated and also the problem is that no one wants to hire me because I dont have dental experience . I am caught in a catch 22. I cant get a job until I have experience. Isle Of Skye: I need some career advice please?! ?
***FIRST THINGS FIRST*** ***I appologize a million times for the length of this post and I thank you a million times in advance for reading it all and helping me out!*** Hi, May 2007 I finished my first year at the university and was hired at the advertising agency that my Aunt owns. I was only going to work there for the summer until the next semester. Time flew by and I missed cut off dates for registration etc so I decided to work until the spring semester. So basically my work consisted of proofing and editing script for ads and running to the bank to make deposits. My Aunt owns not only the advertising agency but several franchises that are pretty much retail. The centers are...
