Isle Of Skye: Has anyone gone on Worker's Comp because of central serous retinopathy?
My husband has a highly stressful job. Our home life is pretty good, 3 kids 7 & under, nothing out of the ordinary there. But his job requires good vision. He has been diagnosed with CSR and is now concerned about his vision and how it will affect his job. Other stress-related illnesses or problems do qualify in his job for worker's comp, heart conditions, physical issues, etc. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this.... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:00
Isle Of Skye: Im confused with a girl problem, what does this mean? LADIES? Quite long.?
Sorry, its long.
Ok, so I like this girl and she never texts me to say whats up, she always uses an excuse to talk to me because she is shy, but she does text often.
So I went out to a party last wednesday with a few of friends and I met a group of females that were really good looking and two of the girls were eyeing me. Well they added me on facebook and have been leaving flirty comments on my facebook wall, like 3-4 from each since friday.
Sooo the girl I like has a long distance relationship with a guy and he is supposed to return in april but she sees him every 3 weeks for a day. So she has been giving me weird and mixed signals but today I woke up to find 3 comments all over m... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:51
Isle Of Skye: What do you think of this Real Estate Business? Could it be successful in this economy?
There will be two parts to the business, which would be located in a big city:
1. Selling Coach
For a much smaller commission than an agency (around .5% of anticipated list price) I will come to the house people want to sell, review it and tell them what to do to make it look best, as well as give them a personal estimate on what price to set, backing up the estimate with market data on similar homes sold. I will put their house up on MLS for a flat fee with their name to call if people are interested. I will coach them through all important knowledge about advertising, open houses, and negotiating. I will give them any paperwork needed to sell the home as well as a professional look... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:43
Isle Of Skye: Can anyone help me with a history question?
In many areas of the world, women work at jobs and careers outside the home. How do you think life in the USSR would have been different if women had also been participants in the higher levels of government, in addition to being part of the workforce in factories and on farms?... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:29
Isle Of Skye: Can a guy feel something deep and special about a girl, but not act on it?
Does the timing have to be right? Cause, I thought naturally, if you felt some sort of deeper attraction and connection to the girl, you would waste no time in wanting to build up the friendship or for some, asking her out?
Ok, say you have never been in a relationship before and you've always shared classes with this particular girl but never knew her til almost classes ended.you got to spend some time with her alone one day and though you had to go home, you stuck around to talk to her (cause it was raining, i guess).
you guys talked abt school, you told her jokes and some interesting stories bout your life, previous jobs. and you asked her things like what she watches on tv, wh... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:55

Isle Of Skye: How to I achieve motivation and direction in my life?
I am 25, I went to college pursuing majors that did not interest me, I went for a practical marketing/business degree and found my self in my second sales job in less than a year, doing the same thing day in and day out.
I live at home, and unsteady jobs have given me cold feet about moving out mostly because i dont know if I will have a job in 3 months.
I want a sales job cause I like how sales people can be lazy and make 6 figures but i really dont have a sales personality and I am not that great with people.
I am one of those people who like doing creative stuff, like drawing, piano, music but just never dedicated enough to ever follow though with anything.
I was thinking ... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:23
