Isle Of Skye: Do you think I should go for this degree or not? (please read)?
I am getting a bachelor degree in psychology. But, Im so broke all the time, and I really want a baby, so I was thinking of getting my associates first in medical transcription because my school also has that degree. My end goal is to have my masters and teach college...I want to teach psychology, and teach film..random, i know, but thats what I want to do.
But, do you think I can get an at home job doing medical transcription? How much money do they make?...

Isle Of Skye: Why am I just so in love with the impossible all the time?
A year ago, my life took a dive and I ended up alone again. My girlfriend left, I lost my job, the Government came after me for unpaid taxes, I lost everything and ended up wanting to die!
Today, still alive (don't ask me how or why) ... I'm searching for the one person I would want to spend the rest of my days with. Well, the problem is that I'm just feeling so much for Britney Spears!!!! I know it's crazy, can't happen, won't either, but hell, I just watched her talking about how sad she was and again my heart just went boom! I wish I had a Girl like her in my life right now. Isle Of Skye: WHat do you do with no motivation in college?
So...I did well in high school, well my first semester at tulane (first college i went to,) and now...in the past two weeks i'm suffering from a slump and i don't give a crap whether I fail or not...at ALL. I don't know what I want to do with my life, just realized I don't want to be a music major (but only because the program is insanely time consuming/I have no life/i am not passionate enough yet to do this.) And I am getting a degree in whatever, film studies and spanish probably. Isle Of Skye: I can't decide on what career I want to do. help me decide?
have 3 things I'm interested in:
One is making movies. Me and my friends make movies all the time and I love the thrill of thinking up good storylines and dramatic plots, as well as I love acting (I have no acting lessons as of yet). It's a ton of fun.
Two, I'm considering acting. I know it's a long stretch, but I love the fun of it and I love the drama actors like Will Smith and Tom Cruise can portray in their films, one being Will Smith in I Am Legend. I think it'd be very fun to be able to portray that same drama in big films (I'm not looking for small independent film making).

The goal of public education is to provide a well-rounded education as well as an opportunity to follow a more narrowed path towards a desired career. Students will be required to learn the basic subjects: English, math, history, science, music/art, nutrition and physical fitness. Once the core requirements have been completed, students will be able to choose a path, if confident about their career choice, or be able to continue pursuing the liberal arts while be able to experiment with other subjects as well. I am not sure...
I like art, but don't know if i should find my career based on that...
I am also good at math,
but i do not like nor am good at english/writing,
history doesnt interest me, and neither do such jobs as a lawyer or doctor...
but i DO want to make a good amount of money. (actually, a REALLY good amount of money, but i guess i can settle for anything that will leave me well off...)
some careers that kind of jump out at me are:
architecture, animation/graphic design, and film.
i LOVE movies, and looking at designs for things,

In my history class today we watched a film on the space race following Sputnik's launch. In the film President Eisenhower was shown to be extremely against taking a military action against the Soviets, while many civilians and politicians were freaked by the satellite and felt that bombs would soon be falling from the sky. Lyndon Johnson, in fact, felt that the Russians would soon be dropping bombs on us like a child drops rocks onto cars from a freeway overpass.

To become a film director one must be intelligent right? I assume an extraordinary knowledge is required to do the job. They must have theatre learned in and out, correct? opera, ballet, art/history, music - I assume without these you wont be making films ever. what are your thoughts?...
