Isle Of Skye: Will Sylvan Learning center cover ALL math subjects?
I'm in high school and I need help with all math skills from elementary math to high school math. I have had trouble with math since the third grade and I never got the help I needed because as I was told in the seventh grade that my teachers thought I would grow out of it. So I got farther and farther behind and now I am in high school and can't do very simple things. Part of the problem is when I was put into a special math class the teachers were very imcompetant, most of them were teachers aides and not qualified to teach anything let alone math. So my mom is probably going to sign me up for Sylvan so I can actually get good job, go to college etc. I was wondering if Sylvan wil... 04 Dec 08, 05:12:25

Isle Of Skye: Am I a Republican or a Democrat?
I don't believe in gay marriage, I don't believe in gun control, I don't believe that abortion should be legal, but I also feel that it should be a state's decision (all of these should be decided by state's), and I am against affirmative action based on race. Also believe strongly in the use of the death penalty, I like how Texas does it
Having said this, I believe that there should be programs to help the poor. I believe in federally backed student loans. I do feel that poor students should get admissions points for things like college. I believe that we need more government spending on infrastructure, I feel the greatest president we had was Roosevelt.

Isle Of Skye: Marriage Question, his versus hers?
My husband and I have been married for a little under a year.
I came into the marriage with a lot of student loan debt, poor credit and no savings. My husband has a fair amount of stock, and some credit card debt. He has two nice cars he owns outright, as well put a hefty down payment on the house we live in together. He bought the house just before we married.
The house is his, the car I drive, everything is his. I work for his company, in a position unrelated to my major in college. All the furniture is his, and we had a grand wedding which his family paid for.
My problem is that I don't feel like we are progressing as a unit, a couple. Everything is his. When we have argu... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:21

Isle Of Skye: Can I sue my doctor for negligence? ?
When I was 14 I started to get really sick with symptoms that wouldn't allow me to live normally. I barely went to school, I couldn't keep a job, or friends. My pediatrician at the time ran a few blood tests but they came back negative and she concluded that I was depressed, and it was all in my head. She referred me to a therapist and brushed her hands off of the situation. The problem was, my main symptom was extremely high fevers-nothing to do with depression. I kept coming back, and she would say you have a sinus infection you have a viral infection. Gave me whatever drug she was pushing at the time, and sent me on my way. Fast forward 5 years after repe... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:37

Isle Of Skye: How to I achieve motivation and direction in my life?
I am 25, I went to college pursuing majors that did not interest me, I went for a practical marketing/business degree and found my self in my second sales job in less than a year, doing the same thing day in and day out.
I live at home, and unsteady jobs have given me cold feet about moving out mostly because i dont know if I will have a job in 3 months.
I want a sales job cause I like how sales people can be lazy and make 6 figures but i really dont have a sales personality and I am not that great with people.
I am one of those people who like doing creative stuff, like drawing, piano, music but just never dedicated enough to ever follow though with anything.
I was thinking ... 04 Dec 08, 04:12:23
