Ipswich: Has anyone worked as an animal care specialist for the army?
I was job-hunting when I found out that the Army (nearby where I live) wants to hire someone to take care of the horses and dogs that they have. I'd love to work there, but I wonder if I'd have to enlist in the army to do that? Also, what would I have to do there? They said that the animal caretaker would be under the supervision of a Veterinary Corps officer. I hope that doesn't mean I'll be yelled at every minute. If anyone can tell me anything about this job, I'll appreciate it a lot.... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:39
Ipswich: I need some advice on what to decide.?
I am 18 years old and currently enrolled in my first year at college. Before I ever applied to college I debated whether to go to college or not. I basically only went because school counselors and teachers said EVERYONE should go to college. Growing up I never had a dream job. Since I've been at school I have still not found what I like and I'm not interested in the subjects here. The only thing I am interested in is war movies/documentaries, guns/shooting, military stuff, and hunting. But my dad, who is a retired Navy SEAL, wants me to get a degree and my mum wants me to stay in college. But I don't want to. I want to experience being in the military.
Does anyone have any... 03 Dec 08, 09:12:52
Ipswich: MY ONLINE JOB HUNT!!?
I am a single mother of three, going back to school next semester, and I was trying to find a legitimate job online to help me pay my bills and still allow me to spend time with my boys. I have tried the fill out surveys and get paid and I am looking for something a little more consistent like a data entry job or something. I don't have money to buy one of those home-based business offers. So if anybody has some good answers thank you in advance. It would be much appreciated.... 03 Dec 08, 07:12:06
Ipswich: Dream interpretation? Here's my dream...?
I started with a history, in the dream. I was running, trying to get away from some people who were trying to kill me. I had done so before, it seemed numerous times, and had failed and died eventually in all, but could only really remember the most recent time. I was, in one sense, the exact same as they were, we were all human, and I didn’t have any special power or ability. But, they also regarded me as though I were some foul beast that had to be killed on principle.
I just wanted to Live… to live, in my own way, I sought freedom. But before freedom came survival, and the fight for my life was painful, difficult, and seemingly never ending. I had failed so many times, dying, alway... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:18
Ipswich: Contract Job and Subbing on Resume?
I need a little bit of resume help. I am a recent college grad (graduated in May) and got an awesome professional job right away in Washington, DC, however, it was a contract position that only lasted until the end of September. Therefore, I have returned back home and because I've been saving up for a car, I haven't been as serious about job hunting until now. In the meantime, I have been substitute teaching so that I can have some money coming in, but education doesn't relate to my career field. I am wondering if I should include it in my resume? I think it looks good that I have been working and therefore don't have empty space for the past couple months when I'v... 03 Dec 08, 01:12:27

Ipswich: Trying to join Army, 8 year old drug charge main thing holding enlistment back. Am I SOL?
Applied to Army in early October, been playing phone tag mostly with my recruiter, and now I've hit a road block. A drug charge that I plead guilty to eight years ago has had the disposition requested. The big issue of this charge was that it was flagged as happening on School Grounds, but it was at an off-site school-sponsored event. My recruiter requested the disposition a little more then two weeks ago, and has either been dodging me now, or doesn't wish to return my calls. Now I am at the point of not really knowing how to handle this anymore. If I continue to call my recruiter, I fear I may compromise my enlistment by annoying my recruiter. However, I also am at the poin... 02 Dec 08, 11:12:21
