Ipswich: What do you think of this Real Estate Business? Could it be successful in this economy?
There will be two parts to the business, which would be located in a big city: 1. Selling Coach For a much smaller commission than an agency (around .5% of anticipated list price) I will come to the house people want to sell, review it and tell them what to do to make it look best, as well as give them a personal estimate on what price to set, backing up the estimate with market data on similar homes sold. I will put their house up on MLS for a flat fee with their name to call if people are interested. I will coach them through all important knowledge about advertising, open houses, and negotiating. I will give them any paperwork needed to sell the home as well as a professional look...

Ipswich: As an employer, legally speaking, do you have to give out information to creditors?
I’m pretty sure that according to the Fair Debt and Collections act that you can request that collection agencies do NOT contact the employee at work. I ask because we have had quite a few as of late in regards to different employees. Which is fine, everyone goes through tough times, especially now. However legally speaking, what am I obligated to do? I have told this one particular agent who is RUTHLESS that I can only take a message as we do not put calls through unless they are emergencies or unless our employee has requested that we do. I take down a name and number and pass it along. That’s my job. That’s where it ends. So when she harasses me and is flat out cold to ME, th...
