Ipswich: Please read- Question about employment status & taxes?
I have been working at my job since Feb of 2008 as a 1099 contractor. I work in an office Monday through Friday, and use all of my bosses equipment and have my own office, etc. Is it legal for him to keep me as a contractor? I have heard that when you work the hours they set for you, use their equipment, do the job the way they want it done, etc then that makes you an employee... I make phone calls and do marketing for the company, and I do not make much money, between $11,000 and $15,000 a year, but these are all 1099 wages and I am going to be hurting when tax time rolls around.. I don't know how I'll pay for the taxes. Shouldn't I be an employee by now? Is this something I ...

Ipswich: UCF employment, rec and wellness center?
Im a student at UCF and just got a job on campus. I am not sure if I can afford next semester since I had a falling out with my Dad and now he does not want to cosign on a loan for me. Do you have to be a student to work at the RWC? That is where I got the job, and I really don't want to lose it....

I was offered a job with clauses like this in the contract:
Licensed Materials means any materials that You utilize for the benefit of the Company, or deliver to the Company or the Company's customers, which (i) do not constitute Work Product, (ii) are created by You or of which You are otherwise in lawful possession, and (iii) You may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company's customers.

Ipswich: I would like to cash out of my 401K?
I have 2 401K plans - one with a previous job I had for 2yrs - about $5900 and one with a company I worked for 5yrs ago for about 6yrs - 21K. I need MONEY and would like to cash out the $5900 - with penalities - i can receive about $3400 - which i can use RIGHT NOW?
Is this a good idea - my current job does not have 401K until a full year of employment - i am on my 5mth...once I complete my full year I can transfer the 21K.

Ipswich: Ladies, is it okay for a guy to talk to more than one girl at a time?
I'm single and I'm looking for someone to date and eventually start a relationship with. I have a few prospects but don't know for sure if they really like me or not. I like to hang out with them, but it still isn't clear to me if any of the girls like me for more than a friend. I only want one girl and I'm not a player. There are no jobs I really want to work at. I don't want to be a doctor or a lawyer nor do I want to work retail or fast food nor would I be a teacher . I simply want an office job but yet I never get the job I really want and I always have to get a job that I don't like. Why does the universe work in everyone elses favor but mine ? I honestly hate manaul labor jobs and I hate jobs working with kids and I hate jobs being around people. So I would rather much have an office job but you can't even find a work at home job without paying some amount to join that you can't afford....
