Inverness: Where do you stand against illegal immigration?
Where do you stand against Illegal Immigration?
This is an article I found to answer a lot of common myths.
1. It is NOT racist to call these people illegal aliens In fact, illegal aliens is the only term used in federal laws and regulations to describe criminals (and they ARE criminals) who come into our country illegally. They are not illegal immigrants, not undocumented immigrants, not migrant workers, and not day laborers - they're ILLEGAL ALIENS.
2. Mexico is NOT a poor country. By sending its teeming masses to our country, that status keeps on rising. Mexico has more resources per square mile than the U.S. and plenty of money to take care of its own... 02 Dec 08, 05:12:28

Inverness: Help with resume suggestions?
I'm currently in my 3rd year in college. Last semester i did an internship at a law firm and i befriended the attorney there. As my internship was coming to an end i asked him if he can provide me with some advice how i can make my resume stronger. So he helped me out which i appreciated. What he wrote was an exaggeration of my work. He revised my resume and wrote things like excellent analytical skills... able to work under pressure,... excellent rapport with people from diverse backgrounds . i mean he makes me sound like i'm the perfect candidate. To be honest i don't think i have excellent analytical skills. I don't think i'm able to work un... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:17

I am currently in college and I will graduate in December 09' or Spring 10' with a degree in Spanish and Law & Justice. After I graduate, I want to learn Arabic before applying for a job in law enforcement. I want to spend about a year abroad teaching or volunteering (I am thinking about doing this through an organization). Does anyone have any suggestions as to good organizations, preparation, and specific countries or cities? I was thinking about Egypt, since the Arabic spoken there is more widely understood and it seems safe.... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:35

There are many questions to be answered when filing for bankruptcy. Such as, how much does it cost to file for bankruptcy? What property can I keep? Or what will happen to your house or car? Nowadays it costs $160 to file for bankruptcy, whether for one person or a married couple. The court may allow you to pay this filing fee in installments if you cannot pay all at once. If you hire an attorney you will also have to pay the attorney’s fee you agree to. In a chapter 7 case, person can keep all property which the law says is “exempt” from the claims of creditors. You can choose between your exemptions under your state law or under federal law. In most of cases, the federal exemptions a... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:17
Inverness: Do you get along with your inlaws?
Whether it be your mother, sister, father or brother in law? I so wish I did get along with any of them really. My mother in law can't stand the fact that I stole her baby boy away from her so although she isn't hostile we deffiantly don't see eye to eye on anything that comes in life. My sister in law has less common sense then a saltine. There are so many things about her that I can not understand or agree with. She is the type of person that had I met under any other circumstances I would have never wanted to meet again. She comes from a cookie cutter all American family and yet she is suck a loser. Her live in baby daddy/fiance is a sometimes druggie, she couldnt hack comm... 02 Dec 08, 03:12:30
Inverness: Can U Define this logic?????????
Why is it felons have a hard time getting jobs? I mean I can see in way why but at the same time. If a guy gets out and wants to be straight & earn ligitimate money WHY CANT HE??? I mean there are some resources but they're limited. I just dont see the logic behind this. Wouldn't that drive a felon to go back to robbing (or w.e) I mean more than likely the person is in jail for tryin to get money.....so when they get out n can't get money, how could the law not think they would go back to doin exactly wat they got in trouble for?... 02 Dec 08, 02:12:40
