Inverness: How do I make it alone?
My husband and I have been married for almost six years. He has been drinking for most of it. I have kicked him out before, but always taken him back for love, for money, etc. I have never lived alone. I have two children and no job. We live in a very small town with very little opportunity- our restaurants aren't even hiring. How do I make it? I don't won't to take him back. I have just called his sister to come and get him in the middle of the night before things got uglier- he came home drunk and spent two hours insulting me. For once, I got help before it went any further. What am I supposed to do? How am I going to pay the bills? I am so scared. He just had hi...

Inverness: can you help me with punctuation of this paragraph?? ?
The criminal justice field is an interesting field to get into. There are plenty of jobs and opportunities to move up in the ranks. One position inside the criminal justice field people are not familiar with is the job of a private investigator. A private investigator is an individual who is hired by a company or another individual to investigate what they are hired for. The earnings, risks of the job, educational requirements, and what a private investigator does are things an individual takes into consideration when they plan on entering the field....

He has an uncle who is money greedy, an aunt who is very kind hearted and caring, grandmother who is very loving for him, an uncle who wants Jeeva to be the heir for his airplane company, and two cousins who are both studying in school. Jeeva's uncle constantly asks him to be the heir for the restaurant and take the restaurant to a new height. Jeeva having no other option becomes the new airplane company owner and he soon makes the air plane company number one. Inverness: How can my friend come to the US to work?
My boyfriend was born in Nicaragua. He and his family moved to Detroit back in the 80's but moved back to Nicaragua while he was still a minor. He and his parents all have social security cards. His parents had work privelege, but because he was a minor, he didn't. What can he possibly do to work here? When I contacted the SS office, they said he would need to send his original documention (ss card and birth certificate) and apply for a replacement ss card, which would then grant him work priveleges. Now, he called his Embassy and they said that there's nothing he can do and basically that the ss card he had as a minor means nothing. Is this true? What can he possibly d...

Inverness: Why do I feel like this?
I'm 32 years old, divorced as of 5 years, no kids. Today, I had a big argument with my mum. She started saying I've no job and that I'm gonna run away because I said I just wanted to renew my passport that I needed to validate 6 months before it expires. So she's like: See, you want to run away again and look at you not working and all. The way she said it basically makes me feel so low and my mum's an illiterate and never had any knowledge of the outside world. My dad's a self-centred man and never gave me opportunities in life. And now, when I just wanted to renew my passport, they're all like thinking I'll run away from home again,...

Inverness: Dropping my math class?
I'm failing my math class and I'm in grade 12. I really loathe math and my teacher does not help me at all. Apparently (and I heard him say this to one of the smart kids) that the people who suck at math are going to fail this course. He just doesn't seem to want to help the people who are struggling. Anyways, I really want to drop this course. Is this going to limit my job opportunities in the future (which I believe is really unfair)? The math I'm taking is data management....

Inverness: Should we bail out the auto industry?
Although I admit that it wasn't a good idea for the CEOs to come in private jets, the auto industry is vital towards our economy and just about everything else. If they went out of business, not only would it cost millions of jobs, it would most likely create a monopoly, and you could say goodbye to customer service and marketing. Also, if people don't have cars, they couldn't get to as many stores and such that would help the economy. However, this needs to be an opportunity for the the automakers to make better cars. My proposal is that the government should give each of the big three a hefty loan, and the percent of emissions that are cut down should be the percent of the l...
