Inverness: Which job should I take?
I currently work for a fitness center, as a babysitter for children while parents are working out. It's a small gym, so I see the same children each week pretty much. The problem is, it is only a part-time position. I am starting college classes soon (online) and I will need to cover my health insurance soon. I really really love this job, and I've been crying a lot when I think about quitting it. I sought out a full-time nanny position and I've been offered the position. It pays well and they will offer health insurance.
I just feel like I will lose so much if I quit my current job - relationships with the parents and children, great co-workers, gym benefits, and I am one ...

Inverness: Time to move on? What do I do?
I've been working in a stable, decent-paying job for 2 years now, though I have been increasingly hating it. It's a call center, tech-support, and as I've gotten to know the people who have been there longer than myself, it's a dead end job - and it doesn't help that with the state of the economy, the higher ups have been asking us to do more - double duty, overtime, etc. and with no increase in pay.
I would really like to find a new position that is more technically challenging - I'll be finished with my masters in IT next year - and ideally, move to a different state to be closer to friends (stuck with parents and zero friends in the area... it's quit...

Inverness: :::Connecting my PS3 at Work on Network::::?
At my job all of the computers are part of a domain....which requires user name and passwords to connect and to connect to the internet...now my question is if i bring my PS3 to my job and try to play online and connect with a wired Ethernet that comes from the server room in the data center...should my PS3 be able to connect online and obtain an IP address...what would prevent me from not being able to.....

im finishin up my hours in beauty school right now...ill be done in march and i was wondering if i should go ahead and start applying for jobs this early...or when is it appropriate to apply? after i get my license?...
another question...im feelin a lil discouraged lately to look online and see that cosmetologists are makin on average $20,000 a year...also alot of people are saying this person tried that for 3 years and didnt make anything and now they work in a call center or this person does it and they struggle ...dont get me wrong its not about the money, i just want to be able to make enough to support myself...and that would be extremely hard on $20,000 a year...

I asked my mom if I could volunteer at an animal shelter earlier this week, she said that i was being self-centered because I relied on her for transportation and the place isn't exactly right down the street. Inverness: you think i could get this job pretty easily?
i worked as a waitress for 3 months as a summer job, and now ive decide im going to work a little during the school year to earn some extra cash. a local retirement center is hiring for servers, so i decided im going to call and set up an interview.
im only 16, but have had previous serving experience, and i am a straight a honors student, very kind and respectful. do you think i should get the job? i feel pretty confident.
anyone had experience with this job before?

Inverness: How to find a dental hygiene job in Massachusetts?
dentists and other hygienists I am having a real problem finding permanent fulltime or even parttime work in MA right now. I have sent out my resume to over 80 different dentists (whom may or may not be looking for a hygienist). I have also checked online daily and there arent many advertised.
However I know there are hundreds of dental offices around MASS and jobs must be going by word of mouth or some other way that I dont know about.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am a new hygiene graduated and also the problem is that no one wants to hire me because I dont have dental experience . I am caught in a catch 22. I cant get a job until I have experience. But how am i suppose ...

Inverness: What does it take; to gat a job as a Social Worker for a hospital (medical center)?
I am 19 years old and a college student at a community college. I am thinking about getting a degree in social work once I tranfer to a university. I am just wondering a coulpe things.

Hi, May 2007 I finished my first year at the university and was hired at the advertising agency that my Aunt owns. I was only going to work there for the summer until the next semester. Time flew by and I missed cut off dates for registration etc so I decided to work until the spring semester.
