Ibiza: I have a question about filipino worker mentality.?
I live in the United States and am a manager for a company that employs about one hundred legal filipino workers. We have found that 75% of filipino workers are very unreliable. The will work for a couple days to get some money, then they won't show up for a few days until their money runs out. They will then come back to work and beg for their jobs back until they get a little more money then they don't show up again. I'm not kidding, this happens with 3 out of 4 new hire employees, and the percentage is higher for workers that have just arrived from the Philippines. They have a real attitude of entitlement , like they have gotten to the US, now they are going...

Ibiza: TX Teaching Quitting Mid-Year - Any chance for employment?
Teacher Quitting Mid Year (TX)? I need serious help. I just started teaching on a probationary certificate in Texas. Its just about mid-year and I can't make my bills. I'm supporting my husband and son (husband can not work right now) and the money just isn't there. How bad is this going to look on my resume? I realize my principal isn't going to give me a stellar review for leaving mid year but will I ever find any kind of job again? This just isn't working out and I'm seriously worried. I've tried to apply for TANF/FoodStamps, but I apparently make too much for that. Moving to a smaller apartment probably won't make much of a difference and ...

Ibiza: Disability insurance problem!!?
Since late early august, I've been out of work on medical leave. I have a herniated disc in my C spine and bulging disc in my L spine. I've been receiving benefits since late august. My disability insurance stop paying disability benefits since october 30. My doctor said it may take my back to heal within six months to a year and he has me onavoid lifting rescrictions. My job involves heavy lifting throughout the entire day. Personally, i still feel lousy and still feel pain in my back without lifting anything. It's clear to me i still have a big problem. How can my insurance cutt me off of disability benefits? Is this illegal? Should i get a lawyer?...

Ibiza: what can you do with an AA in psychology ?
Ok, so I went to school to become a medical assistant after high school, ( what a waste of Sallie Mae's money ) then after that I joined the Air Force and now i'm an Med-Evac technician. I love my job but currently i'm reserve and I want to stay that way and go back to school, here's the problem. I don't want to be an RN..or even an LPN. Love the field, but it's not what I want to do with my life. I want to be a social worker, or work in mental type of health field. I have a lot of credits and im thinking of turning them into an AA in Psychology, then later going for a Bach. in Social work. Will I have more open doors with an AA in psychology? or mor...
