Ibiza: Do I have to limit my college options? Please help?
My parents keep telling me I'm going to have to get a job to help pay for college, which I understand. But when I tell them that I'm interested in this out of state college, they get mad at me and tell me it'll be expensive enough sending me to our in state public university. I thought loans or assistance was possible?
I'm a high school junior. I have a 4.0 gpa, I'm taking IB classes (but I'm not full IB), I'm active in the music and theatre programs, I'm in KEY club and NHS. And on the PSAT last year, I scored above average.

I am fat. i go to a private school. so my parents are pretty much living from paycheck to paycheck rite now.

Ibiza: Rough cost of moving to San Francisco?
I'm considering moving to San Francisco. My boyfriend there has an apartment and I wouldn't really have to help out much with rent or anything so that's not what I'm asking. How much money would be ideal to have saved up to move there, to cover food and such until I can land a job, and to pay for a transport pass (or whatever that is - I live in Omaha and have never used public transportation.) Also, would it be possible for anyone to point me to other information about public transport there (fees, other info) and other possible living expenses? Would moving there with roughly $1,000 be enough?

I graduated with a BA in Public Relations in May. I have been doing an internship in the PR department of my city zoo. I wasn't able to find a full-time job when I graduated, which is why I took the internship. The problem is, it is unpaid, and the organization will not be able to offer me a position (money problems).
