Huntingdon: GM outsourced a lot of jobs to Mexico, Russia, & other countries so why should they be rewarded w/tax money...?
And making us pay an inflation tax and increase the debt? Isn't that just encouraging them to spend the money on more outsourcing (like the $300 million they spent this month to open in Russia)? For decades they've been outsourcing jobs to Mexico even back when they were making record profits. Why aren't they making sacrifices by not opening $300 million factories and scaling down like everyone else has to? Why are they being rewarded (bailed out) for years of rewarding American productivity with factory closures? They wouldn't be where they are without American workers, and America used to be the envy of other countries because they paid workers well unlike many other co... 21 Nov 08, 03:11:48

Huntingdon: what do you think of my essay?
is it good..are there any improvements i can make?
Brain Power Changes the World
In the stillness of my head I come across the revolutionary thought that will change the world. A signal from my brain leaks down my neck. Through the command of my brain it goes down my arm making my muscles contract. The steady beat of my heart is uprising. The fist that was once clenched tightly loosens. I show a sign of peace to the world.
In my opinion, individuals like Isaac Newton or Albert Einstein should not be the only ones who used their brain power to change the world. Together, we can change the biggest component that makes up planet earth itself – mankind. Imagine what the world would be l... 21 Nov 08, 03:11:17

Huntingdon: Honest question for Christians: What is your personal opinion on Genetics and Gene technology?
Do you think that it is good or bad?
(Take into consideration that Genetics can actually be connected to Evolution, in that the Evolutionist theory takes note of mutations in genes which can cause a variety of things to happen: flies with multiple wings, a body type that is more likely to contract cancer later in life, a certain-colored beetle which can blend in with it's surroundings and survive to pass on its genes to the future generations.)
Also remember that gene technology is (usually) for the benefit of humans. For example, people with diabetes can have insulin injected into their body because their body do not produce enough insulin (due to certain genes that were passed ... 21 Nov 08, 02:11:28
