Hull: How do I get my fatso of a work colleague of mine to stop asking me for my food?
It drives me crazy. I'm new in this job (I temp) and at the start, I'd offer her my food and offer anything that comes out of my handbag: chewing gum, baby wipes you name it I offered it, because that's me. Now, she keeps asking me for my food, rather than let me offer her any. How can I deal with this politely? I don't want to have to keep going to the bathroom to eat - I should be able to eat without being asked for my food! I only ever eat mixed nuts and dried fruit and she grabs a whole handful (which are expensive), but she never offers me her sandwiches, or chocolate.... 02 Dec 08, 02:12:09
Hull: Is it possible to still find someone to be with if you have a stack of life problems that you can't fix?
I'm 27 now and have over the years acquired in some way or another problems I can't fix. There are so many they really don't give me enough room to tell you about all of them. Some are and include the fact that I can't drive anymore do to an identity theft issue. I have no family left alive. I have to live under my work so I can get here everyday. If not then I wouldn't be able to feed myself. There really isn't any kind of advancement in my life because of these problems. People laugh and tell me to just fix them. When I ask them for help they either have an excuse for not helping me or they try to help and end up with the same results I've been getting fo... 02 Dec 08, 02:12:09
Hull: Small consultanting company or big?
Got a job offer from a small consultanting company for 34k+bonus (which can range from 6-12k in my first year), 5 weeks vacation, and a lot of perks. The company has an very low attrition rate which is quite rare for consultanting companies. They have about 100 employees based out of London.
I was wondering how this would compare to the big consultanting companies e.g. McKinsey / Deloitte and the like. How about future options - does working at a large place like McKinsey open doors that a small company wouldn't?
I've got a competitive CV and am in a relatively good position when it comes to having my choice of employer which is why I'm asking this. I'm also ponderi... 02 Dec 08, 01:12:59
Hull: What to do about the school and externship site?
I finished school on September 3, 2008. I was taking up surgical technology so that I can become a surgical technologist. I am upset because out of everyone that I went to school went I was the only one who was sent 2 hours and 30 minutes out of the way to go to externship which was really weird. Eventually the drive was wearing me down and my money was getting low because of me continuously having to put gas in my impala. The school hardly paid me anything for my travel. My boss at my job told me that since I was going to pursue another career, I had to quit my job and wouldn't grant me leave so I had to take externship and not have money in my pockets at the same time because I couldn... 02 Dec 08, 01:12:55
Hull: Why is my girlfriend feeling this? Girls, any thoughts?
We've been together for two years. We have a great relationship. As usual, at the beginning of our relationship things were pretty heat up, she would ask me all the time can we make love? ...sometimes in the middle of watching a movie, sometimes in the middle of studying, she would ask me that. Every time we had sex, it was painful for her and I felt bad, I was tender and tried to understand...but still, she would always have the drive to have sex. Eventually, we moved together to a house and well, things have been great EXCEPT for our sex life. It has been like 8 months with no sex. We haven't lost the tenderness, we still hold hands, we kiss, we hug, we respect each ot... 02 Dec 08, 12:12:58

Hull: Courier Jobs Info wanted for new driver?
I am interested in a driving job. However there are a few issues I have come accross in finding the work..
1) Taxi is out! I could not put up with the hassles that come with it in the way of drunk people, and non payers etc!
2) any other kind of public transport is also not appealing
3) I have a BIT of a dodgy back so cant do heavy items!!
so i came accross the idea of courier service! This sounds just what I am looking for! the sites I have found say that the drop off items will be no more than 30kg so should be ok. this other site provides info but goes into insurance etc and i dont know what most of it means! http://www.courierexchange.co.uk/resources/media/10.pdf
