Henley On Thames: Should I try to find another job because I have developed feelings for my supervisor? (see details)?
My supervisor, who is in a position where I have been before (I was a supervisor in another office before transferring to a slightly lower position to be near family), is two years younger than me, and we talk all the time, both about work and about non-work things as well. We get along and work together very well, and have fun while we're working together on the same project. She's told me before she thinks of us as equal coworkers instead of the hierarchy our office has. My problem is that we have found we have a lot of things in common, and I have developed a real liking for her as a person. She's also mentioned on a few occasions that she's single, which only makes th... 21 Nov 08, 04:11:55

Henley On Thames: Career in Law Enforcement?
I am currently a 17 y/o senior in Florida (Palatka, Putnam County, Florida) and am interested in becoming a Police Officer/ Sheriff Deputy, and was wondering what I could do now to better prepare myself for this career. Where could i find 10 codes and signals, and should I study Florida Laws, and there possible consequences? What do I need to do to be eligable for recruitment, and what can I do to make myself higher on the list of eligable recruits. Also, what would be better. A City Cop, County Sheriff, or Highway Patrolman? How would I know whats more suitable for me? Would my school resource officer be able to help me? Any advice or response to my questions would be greatly appriciated, a... 21 Nov 08, 04:11:59
Henley On Thames: Can you please help? I really need some advice on this business major? Ten points to most helpful. thanks?
I'm a recent high school grad and have don't really have an interest in anything. Just recently I’ve grown an interest in international business. I know I probably won’t get the most fun and rewarding career out of it, but I honestly don’t like anything else. I'm the type of person who knows when I don't like something and I know that I don't like anything because I've done tons and tons of research on every single job and career. I've also taken plenty of classes in anything that I think may interest me. I was home schooled, so I really need some helpful advice. The international business major really appeals to me, but I just want to know if it will... 21 Nov 08, 02:11:24

I am living in New Zealand & am 19 years of age.I have finished high school & want to pursue a career in either mythology, wildlife, archaeology, interior design, palentology or possibly classics but the problem is the schooling here isn't very good & we don't have much courses that deal with these.I am great at english & classical studies(which deals with ancient rome & ancient greece) & all these choices are what I am interested in.Now I don't know what courses I should take to achieve in any of these areas.I know if I don't achieve in one particular area then I have a backup & a backup for my backup so I am not relying on just one career for my ... 21 Nov 08, 02:11:26
Henley On Thames: Qualifications Forensic toxicologist or DNA analyst?
I am a certified Phlebotomist and when I went to school I was told I can further my career into many different directions including DNA analysis for a crime lab but also forensic toxicology and pathology. I don't want to take it as far as pathology right now {maybe one day} but as for right now I was thinking maybe DNA analysis or forensic Toxicology.
Would I have to return to school for those or not? I cant seem to find anything on it but I was just recently reminded of it all and am very curious. I work for labcorp right now and though i have yet to personally do a DNA Analysis they are done at the home PSC.. so i dont know weather putting in simple time at the PSC could get me the e... 21 Nov 08, 02:11:33
