Heathrow: How do I improve my life?
I'm not overweight but my face isn't pretty and I think most people don't like, care, or respect me because of my looks. I posted my pic in the internet once ( I won't do it again) and most of them said I was ugly or not attractive (both guys & girls said this) I hardly have any friends and I don't have a social life. I stay home all day- either I'm on the computer or I'm in my bedroom. I'm 25 years old and I still live with my mother. I don't have much freedom because of this. I didn't finish college because I've felt depressed. Too many people have insulted me and many put me down. I lost the motivation to have goals because I thin...

Heathrow: What the hell should I do ?
I just moved out of my ex's house a month ago... She's four months pregnant with my baby and already has a 3 year old whom I was already playing daddy for ! She DOES NOT take care of herself or her daughter like she should! I'd come home from work every day and the house was a damn wreck (every day)! I was constantly picking up after her (she was worse than the 3 year old) I'd do dishes, cook, clean,do laundry, everything that a responsibly person(parent) should do, and she would NEVER get her ass off the computer to help! ( She's a Myspace junkie) This girl had no urge or ambition to do anything resourcefull with her time or our time. Anyway.. I let all that stuff sli...

Heathrow: How would you deal with this work situation?
*Warning: A little long* I'm having somewhat of a difficult time dealing with an out-of-line co-worker. The situation is: recently I've begun taking on more work, I just got promoted and thus my work load is now a little heavier, however I thoroughly enjoy the work I do, and I'm ambitious. That said, I know when too much is too much and I wouldn't hesitate to tell someone if I needed help. I just took on a few more clients, which I was rather excited about, and my co-worker, who is the same job grade I am, but who sometimes thinks she's my superior, came to me this morning and said I don't think you need these extra clients, you have too much on your pl...

Heathrow: What path should I take? (Going to college with 25yo)?
Due to personal reasons I made the mistake of dropping out of high school on the 11th grade, back when I was 17, since then I got some computer certifications, my GED and managed to get a very decent job, the only problem is that I'm 25yo now. The good side of things is that I'm able to afford for my own education now, the bad side is that I wouldn't be accepted on a regular University due to my age, but I still want to get the best education as possible and I don't care how much it's going to cost me, I'll pay for it. I don't want to just go to one of those colleges that promises you a degree in 2 - 3 years and be done with it (there are a lot of those h...

Heathrow: How can I motivate myself?
I'm in my first year of university and at first, everything was good. I studied hard. Now, a few months later, I find myself getting lazier. I don't go to my morning classes because I'm too tired, I put off doing my homework, and I can rarely force myself to study for exams. I'm starting to worry that this will continue. I desperately want to do well, I just can't find the focus and dedication required. I'm doing a science degree and I plan to apply to med school, so obviously I need excellent grades. Right now, for example, I should be studying for my chem midterm tomorrow, but I just can't drag myself away from the computer and get my book out. Can I stil...
