Heathrow: Traffic Ticket Bail/Citation ticket due tomorrow - Unable to pay California ?
Hello,
I have a ticket that is due tomorrow but I'm unable to come up with the total money ($591). It's a traffict ticket that I got a while ago for no insurance and speeding and I have already asked for an extension and tomorrow is the deadline.
What happens if I don't pay tomorrow? Will I get in trouble? Warrant for my arrest? Will I get arrested when I show up to pay at the court's cashier if I'm 4 days late?
I can pay everything but not until 4 days later.
I got into trouble and don't have enough money and I have been saving since then but don't have enough right now. I am a full time student with a part time job during the night living by mys... 21 Nov 08, 01:11:16
Heathrow: Cockatiel who screams 24/7...?
I have a male cockatiel I've had for about 10 years. He's getting up there in age. Anywho, I also had a female companion with him, and earlier in the year (About four months ago) she died. I had her about 12-13 years. My father was the one who physically removed her remains from the cage and I proceeded to bury her.
Now, this is where the annoyance comes in.
He (Mr. P, the bird), screams 24/7. Not sings, screams. Usually short bursts, which is a very loud chirp in a series of two at a time.
He will continue this, regardless of what is going on around him, UNTIL...
My father comes home. The moment he sees my father he shuts up (Praise FSM). I have tried EVERYTHING to g... 21 Nov 08, 01:11:20
Heathrow: studying/work is splitting us up! help?
me and my fiancee have been together 16 months, we love each other and plan to marry.
i work full time and im studying for a degree, she is in her final year of her degree, but gave her part time job up in August.
Since then we have had arguments, to do with money, and that i feel put upon as the bread winner, although she gets a student loan this is only once a term. We have had to get a credit card, and her family seem to think it's ok for her to study and not work, her priority is her university work and to get a first, so she can go on to do a masters degree and finally a doctorate.
This is all very well but right now we live in London in a rented studio flat, which is one room a... 21 Nov 08, 01:11:19

Heathrow: Why do people/college students need Recommendation Letter?
~My question is this, what if some students DO NOT plan to go to grad school do they still need some letter of recommendation in future?
Should one come up to the proff. and ask for it? What if they will ask you what it is for? What would you say? (Even though you are not applying for grad school nor a new job).
EDIT: Will a student be able to read what the proff. wrote? Also, what is the process of the letter? I have NO clue, whatsoever....... 21 Nov 08, 01:11:47
