I have so far:
It was December 6, 2007. I was standing aside my brother in FedEx Field even during the gelid, below freezing temperature. We knew our feet were numb, but we had to stand. The ball floated threw the air; the flight felt like an eternity. Boom! Interception. The slightest hope to make the playoffs was lost—yet I was blessed. The Thursday Night Game was the day after my birthday. After countless years of switching jobs and even going back to school, my bro... 21 Nov 08, 02:11:44

Heathrow: unemployment in between job transfer with same company?
okay,,, a bit of a complicated situation. My fiancee and I lived together in Maryland and 2 months ago he got a job back home in PA. I have been staying in Maryland, showing the house after work, at a job I have worked for the last 2 years. Two months ago, when I found out, I spoke with my boss about the upcoming move. I told them It all depended on when the house sold, so it was difficult to give a date. They put me in for a transfer at 2 stores in the area of where I will be moving. I have heard back from the one store, and they will have an opening in January. Well, living in the house by myself I have very very little money. I can no longer afford to travel back and forth to my ... 21 Nov 08, 01:11:53
Heathrow: Auto finance question:?
My scenario is that I recently started a new job (2 months ago) after being a stay-at-home mom for several years. I make 45,000/yr and would like to finance a used car that costs around $19000-$20000. My credit scores are 581, 596, and 621 as of 11/18/08. I really need a new car because my minivan is kaput. I don't want a clunker(been there done that). I want something nice that I can keep approx. 7-10 years. What are my chances of getting financing and what do you believe the rate and terms would be? I would like to finance 60 months on a 2006 model year. Also, how does mileage come into play? The car I am looking at has around 50,000 miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated ... 21 Nov 08, 01:11:41

Heathrow: B.S. in Accounting minor in....what? ?
I will be graduating Spring of 2010 with 135 hours, and I will only need 5 more classes to be able to sit for the CPA examination (requires 150 hours of college coursework). My boyfriend suggested that I try to get a minor in Finance, but I don't know how I feel about that. I was thinking about a minor in computer science or maybe information technology? I want to get a minor that will set me apart from the other entry level professionals in the accounting job force. Any advice or suggestions would be great! Thanks!... 20 Nov 08, 09:11:31
Heathrow: How do you combat depression because of lack of finances?
I'm upset. I have a hard time clearing my mind at night and falling to sleep. By my husband isn't upset. I hear his head hit the pillow and he's already snoring. He doesn't understand that I'm affected by his lack of a job and his self employment . He doesn't make money lately and we really have to squeeze our budget to get by. He was raised like that.. his mom sued people just to pay the mortgage. She was always late on the electric, had the water shut off often. Except she should have known better. She worked for a lawyer and for a hospital. She should have been more mature and reputable. She made a disgrace for her children and now they're fol... 20 Nov 08, 09:11:19
