Heathrow: Could I Afford an Apartment?
So I am a commuter and I live about 20 min. away from the university. I only pay for gas and I work about 25 hours a week making $7.05 an hour (will go up in January about 30 more cents). I don't pay for car insurance or cell phone. Last year I went to a diff. university and lived on campus in the dorms. I got a 3.5 gpa for the entire year which was very well. Right now at my new school I am feeling less prepared and receiving horrible grades. I feel like I can't get involved because it's such a hassle and expensive trip every time to drive out there for the littlest thing like seeing a teacher for a brief talk. For my junior year (next school year) I want to live ...

Heathrow: I want to commit suicide because I can't handle living in this society anymore.?
I have trouble believing life is more than an assortment of molecules, and I find little faith in the conventional Christianity that doesn't seem to make sense logically. I graduated with a BA and can't find a job and live at home with a disturbed family in emotional turmoil over my father's imprisonment. He's dying and I'm torn between being compassionate towards his situation or angry at him for causing me so much pain. And winter is coming and I'm without someone to hold at night and a safe place to chill out and be healthy and cry. I am 23 and want to meet a man I could be with to start something healthy but most people bore me with the stupid sh*t that ...

Heathrow: Adelaide teachers being selfish?
They just need to accept that they already get paid well enough and all seem to be able to drive around in nice cars and enjoy all the school holis!! Get on with your jobs and realise that you are not hard done by at all! I know, I understand what it's like to be blamed, have a huge amount of responsibility and to have difficult parents. I am a nurse and I encounter much worse things than a snotty nose or miffed mummy. But if nurses walked away from their patients they would die, simple as that. If teaching is so hard, why are parents allowed to home school their children? Obviously anybody could do it....

Heathrow: question about ohio driving laws--anyone involved in law?
im sixteen. i've had my license for about six or seven weeks. today a girl break checked me and we had a fender bender . There was hardly any damage to the woman's car but she still called the police (understandable). I was given a ticket for failure to allow safe stopping distance. i have a court date in two weeks. i have good grades, never had a moving violation before, i uphold a job (which i use my car for transportation), and i use my car to get to and from school. what are the chances of me losing my license? if i do, how long do you think? i live in ohio if that helps. thanks for all the help :) okk lyle-- i know its my fault. i wanted to know if i ...

Heathrow: is this a good essay? please help!!!!!!!?
okay so be truthfull and tell me what to change/add. the most details will get the best answer. thankkks :] What freedom means to me Freedom means a lot to me. Without freedom we wouldn’t be able to vote on decisions that effect our lives. We vote to choose our leader, which some other countries are not aloud to do. Also, without freedom, women would not have the same rights that men have and we would not be treated equal. We would not be able to vote, drive, get a good education, and get a job. Freedom also means that I have the right to control my life and what I do. I can make my own decisions. In some countries people are forced to do things like ma...

I'm married and in love with a married man I work with. I want to quit my job because feelings I have for this other man is driving me insane and I can't tell anyone about it. It's very difficult right now to find another job, but I'm also in an emotional wreck. What should I do? I feel like I'm stuck in a rut....

Heathrow: I really need some help. im stuck.?
Im 17 years old. My mom had me when she was 40. And I have three older sisters. I wasnt a planned baby or anything so when I was born she was just kind of... done with being a mother. My mom works at a nursing home and makes a decent ammount of money. But now thats shes 60 my life kind of stopped. I quit school when she got sick and was put into the hospital because I had to be home for her. That was a year ago and she doesnt want me to go back to school because of transportation and things like that she just doesnt want to deal with. I found a job at a tim hortons near my house but they werent treating me fairly and I was fired. I know I should have just let myself be humble and took all t...

Thanks for taking the time to read if you do.., Please tell me your perspective (Mother, teenager, experience..)! Alright So I am turning Eighteen in less than a month. You may see this as young however, i have had to mature quite a bit throughout my life early. I started university in September with intentions to just take some courses. I sort of leaned towards teaching elementary school (5 years of full time study), Being a newspaper columist (knowing the right people), all i really want to do is write novels (wheres the money in that??). My living situation is very very difficult. my mother for example, divorced my father who is n...

Heathrow: Wiping Mac hard drives?
OK, I have a few questions about Macs. I recently obtained 2001 Mac OS 9.2 which my school gave to me because they didn't need it anymore and I need it to get Mac experience for a job, which I have none of. I need to know how to wipe this baby's hard drive clean. Also, this thing is SO outdated. I mean, DUDE, you know? Is there anyway I can bring the version up a little bit; you know like the same way Windows has XP and Vista, and such? Do Macs work the same way? I mean all the Macs these days have the little red, yellow, and greet dots in the corner for the minimize and close and what not... This things doesn't even have that. I guess my basic questions are.... How can...
