Harrow: Does the American public believe that there will be a military victory in Afghanistan?
I don't think so.
I don't think we will defeat the Taliban in the long term. Kandahar is run by the Taliban, day and night, its almost impossible for westerners to walk around there. Kabul is under siege from the north west and south at night. Afghanistan is a land that just can't be conquered. Logistically its very difficult. It takes up too many resources. The Greeks, the Persians, the British, the Russians all failed. Why does this coalition think it will succeed.
Here is my solution. Cut off the life line of the Taliban, legalize the poppy crop. This is the only thing Afghanistan really produces. Legalize it and give contracts to local companies to make it into morph...

Harrow: I just moved to Florida and cannot find employment. Besides unemployment can I receive any other help?
I have been looking for a job for months now. I did get a job with a local computer company but they just laid me off because it has been so slow economically for them. The complete employment only lasted about a month. This month did not allow me to become eligible for unemployment benefits. Now I do not really know what to do because I have a wife to care for. Is there any other government assistance?...

Harrow: Why is the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act not being enforced?
The law clearly states that people who help, employ etc... illegals are breaking the law and it clearly states that property and cars can be confiscated. Why is our government not doing it's job and arresting people who help these illegals?

Harrow: Do we really live in a democracy in the UK?
I am a little puzzled and maybe someone can define exactly what we have here.
I thought that democracy means; 'rule by the people'.
It is commonly accepted as the fairest type of government because it means that everybody is equal. Nobody is better than anybody else and everyone has the same power.
So most democracies have a system of 'representation'. We choose, by election, someone to represent us, talk for us and fight for us in parliament. That person is a Member of Parliament in central government and a councillor in local government. Their job is to speak on our behalf and represent our interests.

Harrow: Local vs foreigner for same job in today employment market.?
The Singapore economy is now confirmed to be in a recession. DBS an iron rice bowl employer had retrenched 900 employees, many in senior positions including managing directors who have service the company for one to two decades.
Likewise we also read in papers that the headhunters are now swamped with resumes from retrenched bankers in US and Europer keen to escape the collapsing economy for a safer heaven in Asia.
The big question is our local employees are already having a difficult time seeking for another job after retrenchment. If the local is equally qualified to do the job for the same or lower pay, why is the foreigners allow into our weak job market to competite with Singapore...
