Harrow: I need some help with my girl situation please??? What is she thinking?
So i've been talking to this girl i met at the coffe shop by my job. She seemed into to me so i gave it a shot, asked her to hang out, she said sure and i got her number. This was about a week ago. So i called her up yesterday and she didn't answer and did not call back. I thought i'd give it one more shot today so i texted her. All she replyed back was Hi. So i was like im gonna go for it and straight up asked her out in the next text to the movies. She did not answer back yet but maybe she will tomorrow. IDK. I'm a few years older then her...dont worry she is legal age LOL. Now what do you think the problem is here?? Do you think she might be alittle intimidated...

Harrow: In Canada, what instruments are there to protect individuals from wrongful prosecution or jail?
In Canada if the police lay a charge against an individual [which is innocent] based off of allegations made by a third party [which was not there and had no actual knowledge of what happened] for a crime against another person, is this considered a tort? Lets say damages were incurred to the individual such as a month spent in jail. Would such an act by police not be in the best interest of society? I know that decisions made by police officers must be hard and they work a very difficult job. If such an act is a tort what would the tort be? Negligence? Malicious Prosecution? Because I know that malicious prosecution cases are rarely won and they have very specific criteria. So what i...

Harrow: If Amnesty is so bad, what do you suggest we do to pay for all of the babyboomers that are retiring as I write?
I am not happy about illegal aliens taking our jobs with the blessing of our government (Nothing has been done because of 'other' more pressing issues) because it suits corporate America to hire cheaper labor, while getting a slap on the wrist when caught! But why are so many people against making them legal, have them pay a fine and drive minimum wage up for the less fortunate legal AMERICANS that are accused of sucking off the system? Then they can pay into our countries deficit that they are partially responsible for as well as take the burden of paying some of the taxes that WE will be stuck with when all the boomers retire. ....

Harrow: Why do you want to be displaced by an immigrant?
There are only a finite amount of jobs in this country, wouldn't filling the slot with an illegal immigrant displace a legal resident?...

Harrow: Should I File for Custody?
I'm having such a hard time trying to figure out if i should go 2 the courthouse & get custody of my daughter. My boyfriend [the father] left me September 25th & barely comes to see our daughter. Every time i ask him to help out & buy diapers or clothes for her it's always an argument. I don't know how the legal system works. I don't have a job at the moment but im working on getting 1. I am on state & have health insurance for us both. I'm just unsure about getting custody. His parents hate me & will do anything to get her out of my hands. I'm a loving parent & do anything & everything for her .. So please if there's someone out...

Harrow: Were can I find regulations for pumping breast milk on the job?
Were can I find regulations for pumping at work? I live in NJ and I have a new boss who seems to not approve of me pumping milk for my baby 2x a day. I'm not sure why she is making it hard for me except that we all suspect she is one of those micromanagers and needs control. I want to cover my a$$ in case she decides to crack the whip. Any suggestions or advice? Can I make this a legal issue? By the way, I think it's funny that my new female boss is making me feel like I'm doing something wrong. My male supervisors do not give me these problems. They pretty much leave me alone and have more understanding....

Harrow: University Hospital imposes 270 day waiting period for pre-existing conditions, with years of prior coverage?
My spouse got a job with a university hospital here in the south and they are imposing a 270 day waiting period for pre-existing conditions, even though we have 5 years of health coverage without lapses! How can this be legal? He talked to the HR dept and they said that because they are a university they can opt out of the HIPPA requirements for waiving pre-existing conditions. Anyone familiar with this policy??? Can someone please explain this to me? I am really confused. I thought everyone had to waive pre-existing conditions if you have prior insurance with no lapses....

Harrow: my dog was lost and showed up at the pound. she was adopted out when i found her. anything i can do?
okay so heres what happened. Two days ago, 11/14/08, I was on craigslist.com looking under the pets section for anything about a husky, like i do EVERY day. Under this section I found a link about a siberian husky that was at the hillside animal shelter and was being put to sleep the following day, 11/15/08. I immediately went to the animal shelter website and was amazed to find my dog, Naomi, under the lost dogs section of the website. she had been there since 11/11/08. I was extremely excited and quickly contacted the person who had written the link. I replyed and sent pictures of Naomi to that lady. Later in the evening she called me and we evently concluded that the dog at the shelte...
