I'm having somewhat of a difficult time dealing with an out-of-line co-worker. The situation is: recently I've begun taking on more work, I just got promoted and thus my work load is now a little heavier, however I thoroughly enjoy the work I do, and I'm ambitious. That said, I know when too much is too much and I wouldn't hesitate to tell someone if I needed help. Harrow: How many metal bass players use a pick?
well im starting to play bass and i want to decide whether to learn to finger pluck or go with picks. i plan on playing heavy metal music and probably hardcore, (ie. slayer, a7x, slipknot, atreyu to name a few). Does finger plucking produce a better sound for metal music? or would the pick better fit the job?
(also how many bass players actually use a pick in heeavy metal? or do most of them use fingers?)...

Harrow: Advice On Not Getting The Job At Work And Another Girl Who Does The Same Job You Do Gets It Instead?
I found out that this girl got this job I also applied for in which I really wanted. Some people at work overheard how I applied for it and were confident that I was going to get it. I was excited but tried my best to ignore. Long story short. I did not end up getting it as I was told by my boss. So this other girl got it. Now I am not angry but just bummed and slightly bitter. I believe they made the right choice because I am positive she has had previous job experience in that part of work compared to me even though I know I am better than her at what I do now. Harrow: Why is it that in order to get a job I MUST be bilingual and most jobs are taken by illegal immigrants?
I think it is unfair for most jobs in the state of California to require that applicants be spanish/english bilingual in order to get hired. I can understand probably 90% of spanish but I cannot speak it well enough to be able to respond. I can read most of it but I cannot write it. Why is it okay for places to require me to learn spanish but it is not okay for the state to require spanish speakers to learn english? And why is it fair that a United States citizen(born and raised) like myself cannot even get a good job because they are already taken by illegal immigrants who do not even have the papers required to have the job in the first place. Harrow: how much money should i have saved before i move out?
im 18, done with school and work full time. i have 2 options:
a. move out with 2 friends
b. go to college
my first question is how much should i save if i plan on moving out with my friends? i have hardly anything saved as of now and want to move within the next 4 months. i make around $300 a week and my expenses are:
insurance- $90
cell- $80
gas- $300
i have terrible spending habbits and a credit card with $500 run up on it already. but im working on getting prioritys straight and learning to budget.
