Harrow: What's better? Weapons Engineer for huge civilian company, or Development Engineer for Air Force?
I need to work on equipment for the military. I want to join the military and at least serve my time, and I already have the degree to do it, but I need to finish losing some weight and get in shape, no problem. However, what's better to join the Air Force and go for Developmental Engineer position (OTS) or just apply for a electronic engineering job in a local military company (BAE Systems)? Thanks for any feedback and opinions....

Harrow: I have an important question! Please help. ?
I'm a senior in high school and I'm super stressed. I'm having trouble choosing what I want to major in when I get to college. I was thinking communications with emphasis on journalism. The problem is that I come from a very economically disadvantaged family, my dad is construction worker and my mom cleans offices to scrape by, and I want to do all I can to help my family out of poverty. I also have to think about how my brother and sister will pay for college. I'm worried that a major in communications won't allow me help them. I'm a pretty smart student and have been thinking about possibly studying engineering or law just to help my family out. These majors ...

I was wondering my chances were to get into cornell engineering. I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA and a 4.3 weighted. I take/have taken 6 AP courses and the rest honors. I hold leadership positions in 4 clubs in my school, including student council and yearbook committee. I play tennis and soccer and i am the captain of the tennis team. Harrow: As a tenant, should these charges be taken out of my Security Deposit?
This is a long tricky one, so I appreciate any feedback on the issue. I am confident I have an air tight case, but I would like other opinions. All this is in Chicago. We lived in a remodeled 4 floor building. The bottom 2 were a duplex condo that we were renting, and the top 2 floors were single unit condos. The developer sold the top 2 units, and we were renting the duplex unit. --- Toward the end of June 08, I was in the middle of purchasing a condo, and the deal fell through before closing because of issues with the seller. My lease was up at my current place, and they had already found a tenant, so I needed to look for a place to rent or rent to own ASAP. I found a great 2 floor condo...

Harrow: Could engineering be a job for me?
Trying to find a line of work to help determine line of education. I don't know how it is in the united states but over here we select high school programs, like natural sciences or the like. I like to come up and design practical soloutions. After finishing cleaning out our garage a few minutes ago, I started thinking about the working space I need for my wood working. I came up with a table idea, sketched it and started to think about making one completley foldable, so It could be folded up agains the wall and take zero space when not used. I like coming up with soloutions to theese kinds of issues. Is this what you do as an engineer? Thanks...
