If he was not a football manager he would make a most excellent psychologist. A case in point being his out spoken criticism of referees if things don't go his way. This is specifically designed to influence and frighten them and their governing body into United favourable decisions in the future. Just a few examples:

I'm a Junior in high school and I'm looking for a job. Unfortunately, my mother won't allow me to have a job during school, but I could really use the money for when I'm with friends. I'm pretty decent with graphic design and photography and was wondering if there was a way that I could do freelance graphic design at my age from home. If there is, I don't know anything about legal information such as taxes and whatnot, so I would also like to know about that, because I'd really hate to get in legal trouble. Anything helps! I've been in the working/professional world for eight years. The day after I graduated from college, I was immediately working 8:30am to 5:30pm everyday. I've worked at a University, an Insurance Company (which I absolutely HATED), and a Sports Marketing Firm.

ive been a student for years. I just finished college. Im 19. and im going to apply for this job.its an office job. and ive no working experience. I have a BFA in Film from NYU and I'm currently working on my MA in Graphic Design. I'm living in Washington, DC right now and my girlfriend lives in NYC. I'm trying to get a job in graphic design so I can move up to NYC and be with her.
I have very strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and I'm getting pretty good with web design in Dreamweaver. What are my chances of getting a full-time job in the NYC area that pays a living wage?

Harrogate: What do software engineers do?
I am strongly interested in a degree in software engineering, depending on what it will allow me to do.
A more detailed version of my question would be:
Are software engineers focused mainly on writing the code to make the computer perform a specific task, or do they have a say in how users will operate the program?
I would prefer to design the user interface and the appearance of the program, with relation to how users will navigate and use the program. I don't really care to write the underlying code for the features, unless I get to design the features as well as code them.
Can anyone give me some conclusive answers as to what software engineers actually do? Does it depend ...
