Halifax: I lost my motivation....?
I have so many plans and dreams, but i lack the drive to pursue them. The only two things that have motivated me all my life was the desire to be the best in my class and love. But my classes have become so difficult and now, i am with people who are a lot smarter than me. Love is not much of a motivation anymore either. I'm in love with someone, but i never see him. We only talk online, but i want to actually be near him. I don't think asking him out again (we went out before) is a good idea because i hate making things awkward. I'm just glad that we're still talking. Where can i find some more motivation? I don't seem to care about college or my job or my stud...

Halifax: What is ****The Birk Economic Recovery Plan****?
Do you think this would work? Why or Why Not? ****The Birk Economic Recovery Plan**** I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG. Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend. To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+. Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.. So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00. My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend. Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So let's assume a tax rate...

Halifax: I'm a senior in college, should I buy a car?
I just wanted some advice on whether I should buy a car or not. I'm a senior in college right now, so I'm just trying to buy something to get me to and from school as well as to and from job interviews (hopefully...lol). Right now I have about 8,000 bucks saved up and make about 400-600 per month at my part time job (I live at home...) so I was thinking maybe I should try to get a $4,000 car and and save the rest for emergencies just in case I need to pay for repairs or something? If so what kind of car would you recommend?...

Halifax: translate to spanish please 10 points?
Dear Maggie College was a great experience for me. I leaned so much! Your Spanish class was a huge help for me. College Spanish classes were so easy. I also met lots of cool people. Two of my good friends were Hispanic. They also helped me with classes. It was so much fun to hang out with them. I also enjoyed going to the parties. Everybody seemed to be so friendly. I lived in the dorms. They are nice. My roommate was very clean. He took 3 showers a day! His part of the room was always clean. He always ate healthy. He also exercised a lot. My experiences in college were great. I had good grades. I hope they are good next semester. I do not want to go back to high school. I like it here i...

Halifax: Insurance options for college student?
I'm going to turn 23 next year and be kicked off of my parent's insurance policy. I will be graduating in May. My school offers a really bad insurance policy, however, I would like a little more coverage. Hopefully, I'll be able to obtain full time employment in June or July (I'm a nursing major so pretty much guaranteed a job). Any suggestions for what to do in the meantime? Thanks!...

Halifax: How am I being a pedophile?
I'm 25 years old, and started my first year of college after finally wearisome of working menial jobs. Yes, I fully realize I am long past due, and that most individuals my age now hold a master's degree, but anyway... I became acquainted with an 18 year old girl in one of my classes. We studied together quite often, and soon thereafter began dating. Her father, however, is virulently opposed to us seeing each other because I am 7 years older than her. He has called the police on me when I called the house. For some incredibly bizarre reason, he was under the presumption that a person still living in the household would still somehow fit the guidelines of a minor...even if ov...

Halifax: Going back to college after failing out?
Hi. I went through high school studying Japanese, playing first chair violin, taking all honors classes, got a 3.6, and got a 1400/1600 on the SATs. Then I went half way across the country to a university i was barely familiar with (my parents both went there and had always said they wanted a kid to go there, im the youngest and none of my siblings went there so it was sorta up to me). I HATED it. I started off alright, I started to make some friends and joined some groups etc. My best friend died in a car crash back home and I couldn't even make it to the funeral because i was so far away. I got so depressed. I had no friends, didn't do clubs, didn't go to class...

any hooters girls out there please help! I want to know what does it take to be a hooters girl. I'm a college student and i really need the money if imma pay for my tuition. So i know the one obvious thing i need, big hooters. I got that one covered trust. I've been told i have a bubbly personality (former cheerleader). im not shy at all and flirting comes natural to me. I call it being nice and sometimes sweet but nah some mistake it for flirt. so other than that what does it take? what should i wear for an interview? and are they super strict about weight. im not a model and i dont have a stick figure. personally i think im fat but everyone tells me otherwise. please can a curren...
