Guildford: I'm a senior in college, should I buy a car?
I just wanted some advice on whether I should buy a car or not. I'm a senior in college right now, so I'm just trying to buy something to get me to and from school as well as to and from job interviews (hopefully...lol). Right now I have about 8,000 bucks saved up and make about 400-600 per month at my part time job (I live at home...) so I was thinking maybe I should try to get a $4,000 car and and save the rest for emergencies just in case I need to pay for repairs or something? If so what kind of car would you recommend?... 05 Dec 08, 02:12:15

Guildford: Ways for a male to look older and more mature.?
I am 23 years old but I'm lucky if someone thinks I look 17. This normally is no big deal and I've heard a million times how I will appreciate it someday, however, I am in the process of looking for my first real job after college. I haven't had a problem getting interviews and I feel I come off as confident, but I believe people have a hard time taking me seriously because of how young I look. If I were an interviewer hiring a kid for a sales or professional position within an office I would have a hard time hiring someone who looked like me. I really believe my youthful appearance and demeanor is holding me back. I dress professionally with a suit and everything when I ... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:52
Guildford: Job offer at JC Penney's, questions please help!?
I have an interview with JC Penney's tomorrow and am looking forward to it. I applied to be a stocker in California. What is the typical pay hourly for that? How does the training go and the interview? I hope I get the job, I really need the money. I know to dress nice and what not, I just have always gotten a job without an interview and whatnot, through people I know. So this is a first for me. Any advice would be wonderful, especially from JC Penney employee's and previous employees. Thanks!... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:36
Guildford: How do I tell my parents I disagree with their church with out crushing them?

Oh and I'm not saying this church or any church is bad. I respect if your religious. There are definitely positive that comes out of religion sometimes.
My family is very religious. They always go to church (unless my mom has to work), and it's been a huge part of my life growing up...but I just don't believe in a lot of the things they teach. I struggle with a lot for the doctrine and I don't like most of the social pressures.
I haven't gone to church (the full meeting) in over a year and my parents are really disappointed in me. If that was all, I could dea... 05 Dec 08, 12:12:12

Guildford: Looking for an English Teacher to interview (answer ?'s)?
If anyone can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated because I just cannot find anyone who would be willing to answer any questions for me. Um, I've never done Yahoo answers before but it looks like there are many people here who know what they're talking about and who are willing to help.
So I am interested in becoming a teacher but I feel like I'm honestly not fit for the job so I would like to know what it would entail.
1. How did you decide to enter this field of work?
2. What kind of education and training do you have?

Guildford: I need some Temporary Job Advice (business related)?
I'm a college graduate with a bachelors and some sales/office jobs experience. I want to work in the marketing field but am having lots of trouble finding internships or entry level jobs in this field. That being said, i wanted to improve my resume with a temporary job. I've got an interview with waddell and reed for a financial advisor position and I'm also applying to AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Which of these jobs would look better on my resume for a marketing job? I really don't want to sell insurance (is this a bad time b/c of the economy?). I would rather sell products which i have some interest/familiarity in such as cell phones but if one will help me more in t... 03 Dec 08, 11:12:52
