Guildford: what should i choose as a beggining job?
im turning sixteen the 18th of december so mybe after christmass i can get to it , im a freshman in highschool (got held back 3rd grade),
i want to get a job so i can save money for a car my dads gonna chip in so here are some things near bye : Wawa, Acme, Peebles, Fashion Bug, Pet store, Dollar Gerneral, Shimps hardware, Dollar Tree, Savealot, its all about you, Payless, i cant think of others i know thats alot but im my house is smack in the middle of town..
what do you think is best and if you've worked at any of these places?
oh there is an applebees but is it that hard to bust silverware and stuff i mean people act like it sucks lol...

Was it worth the 4 yrs of study?? has it landed u anywhere.. r u successful and happy... wat kind of jobs r u in.... i would love to hear from people who have taken up this field and doing good wat is ur pay.... is there somebody u know , (ur friends,relatives) in this field pls do tell.... thanx!!!!

Guildford: Scared I will neglect my son...?
I have a lovely 3 year-old in which I have invested as much as I could of my time and patience and as a result, he's pretty good.
Now I am 16 weeks' pregnant with another baby. As I remember how much time and energy, newborns can suck out of their mothers, I sometimes fear that I will, as a consequence, neglect my boy. Don't mention asking for external help, my husband is conveniently old-fashioned to leave the children as their mother's full responsibility, and also the cleaning and the cooking are a woman's job. I will be lucky if he holds the baby more than 10 minutes.
(PS Maybe that's why the boy and I bonded so much...)
Any tips on how to deal with ...

Guildford: Thinking about a Career in Design?
I love art, and always have. Both my parents have jobs in the art side of things, architechure, product design, and it has always appealed to me.
Now that I am doing my standard grades, I would like to look at types of design.
What types of design are there???
I know the general, like fashion design, and interior design, both which i like the sound of, but I feel are to general and do not always pay well ( soz).
Any kind of interesting design type job??

I have always written and asked about your opinions whenever I was at a career crossroad.
I have a BS in Liberal Studies and I am doing a certificate in HR at Baruch college. I have noticed that I am not interested in HR, its very dry and I dont know if I will be completing the certificate as I have taken just one class out of 7 so far.
Also, my interests seem to have now switched to 3 things. I know please bear with me like you always have:-)
1) I feel I should take the GMAT/GRE in order to enroll in either an MBA or a Ms IN Journalism. Which of the two, again I cannot decide.

Guildford: I just started working at Macy's for the holidays...and hope to make it a permanent position,any advice?
I recently started working at Macy's and have been for about a week. I've loved fashion my entire life and this is my first retail job, i'm hoping to make it a permanent position, or have the ability to transfer to another store preferrably New York, I know the basis of what goals I need to accomplish however any tips from current or former employees would be greatly appreciated....

Guildford: When to do the two weeks notice?
Okay, I just got offer from a new job, eventhough it is sesonal at Macys. But it relate to my major, since soon or later I will have to quit my job at Rice since I will have to start working on my internship next month on January. And after thinking for a day, I think i should take the new job eventhough it will be seasonal, but I will get to learn all the valuable experience at Macy, since my major is fashion design.
