Guernsey: Moving from Chicago to LA -- which neighborhood, and am I crazy?
Hey, so I live in Chicago -- I came here after college because at the time I was a dirt-poor, struggling freelance writer so it was the only big city I could afford. I'm doing much better now, but I've become somewhat bored. The brutal winter weather is wearing on me, and I'm itching for a radical change of scenery. I can't afford a lawyer and while I understand a lot of what the paperwork says, I don't know all what I should put down. Little back history first. Her and this other someone are together now. I wasn't working when I left and hadn't worked essentially in 5 1/2 years being a stay-at-home father while she worked. Where we lived it was the best choice all around as it was the cheapest ch...
