News Articles on Christian Jobs in Gloucester

Gloucester: Why do some christians feel that violent entertainment is ok, but if swearing is in that entertainment?
... then it's not ok? After thanksgiving dinner my christian cousin wanted to express his opnion about how Las Vagas is a bad place to visit, brag about his successful job (oh my wife and I are going to Itally), ask me about what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life, and then he wants to complain about how he can't enjoy Call of Duty because when he plays online he hears all the french kids saying f*ck in every sentence, which really is none of John's business. Why would John be playin a violent war game anyway if he's so christian?...

Gloucester: Christians, have you noticed how some news isn't reported in the media?
Why haven't I seen this in the news? I received this in an email. Did you know that this was going on? Will you keep these brave people in your prayers? Sorry it's kind of long, but it's important for us to be aware of what's going on. And pray that this won't end up in our own backyard too. This is a request for prayer for YWAM missionaries and their churches in Orissa , India . The request came from Mable Hurst, an associate of HCJB Global. Please read and make this a matter of urgent prayer. Dear beloved sponsors and friends of Good News India . We have never seen anything like this. We knew that Orissa was the most resistant and hostile Stat...

Gloucester: Would I be considered Jewish?
I was raised Christian, but my mother -- and all of her family -- are Jewish. I was given a Jewish naming ceremony, but also a Christian baptism. I have members of my family on my mother's side who lived through the Holocaust, and some members who died in concentration camps, and some members who were burned alive in their temple by Nazis. Conversely, my father's family is German, so I also have ancestors who were Nazis (not of their own volitions, but Nazis all the same). While I was raised Christian, my grandparents always made sure to teach me about the Jewish faith, and would even send me packets of information regarding each Jewish holiday as it passed. I was never taught...

Gloucester: Problems with mother in law that need to be solved asap. Please help!?
My mother in law has known that her lease is going to be up at the end of the year and now with less than a month left to find a place to live, all she keeps saying is that God is going to take care of it. The thing is I know God isn't going to fix all her problems just because she prays, that's unrealistic. The problem I have isn't with her or her religion though, it's that we all know if she doesn't find a place to live soon she's going to have to stay with us in our cramped townhouse with our dog and baby. Its just not going to work. My husband and me and her other son have tried helping her find a place to live and a job to prevent this but she keeps saying...

Gloucester: Sex: Worth the Wait (Long? Need advice)?
Hi everyone, I'm 20 yrs old & in my 3rd yr of college, I have a job & am studying English Education. In this time I've been on several dates w/ diff men, & I have faced pressure to give in (if you know what I mean). Here's the thing though: when I was 15...I made a promise to myself to wait until I was married to have sex...I am a Christian & was even given a purity ring (that says True Love Waits on it). I don't condone premarital sex...I wasn't even taught that sex was wrong when I was younger but that it was shared between 2 married adults...nor do I condemn those who have already experienced that. I've always been a focused, h...

Gloucester: Questions About Citizenship and Residency in Saudi Arabia?
1. Is it possible to obtain Permanent Residency in Saudi Arabia? Is so, how? 2. What are the conditions to apply for citizenship in Saudi Arabia? 3. About the points system: Is it possible for me to have a Phd. in Engineering to get me the points, but when I actually work in Saudi Arabia, I work in a field that is unrelated to engineering, like data entry in a company? Is this bad? 4. How can I get a job in Saudi Arabia with a Phd. in Engineering? 5. How can I buy a house in Saudi Arabia if I am a resident? Do I have to rent a house or apartment? 6. If I already have 23 points in the points system, what is the process of applying for citizenship, and how long does it take? 7. If befor...

Gloucester: Do you believe the following article regarding Muslims?
Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components. Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well. Here's how it works. As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most...

Gloucester: Is the UK a safe and welcome place for a Pakistani?
Greetings, I am a Pakistani national from islamabad. I want to move to Enlgand with family and to get a job as a butcher. However I'm not sure about whether it is the right place for me. Being a muslim, I am very used to modesty and moral behaviour and i'm not sure if i'll ever be able to adjust to the promiscuousness of britishers and their immoral way of life, that my family living there have told me about. I've also heard horror stories about pakistani muslims expericencing hostility and racism at the hands of the White christian majority. Is this true? I have suspicions that it has been greatly exagerated if it is. Question is only really intended for...
