Glastonbury: Worried! Help! Can a driver sue me for a minor scratch? ?
I bumped up against them! Tonight I was at a railroad crossing...Okay...Maybe I'm dumb but there was only flashing lights in front of the railroad. THe guard rail wasn't moving...I crossed the tracks...Suddenly I saw a train coming and there was no room for me to get safely across as other cars were in front of me. I barely got over the tracks and the guard rail went down, and I bumped into the car in front of me. They came and saw it was a minor scratch on their car. They said it was a brand new car of theirs!! We didn't call the police, so there was no accident report. Mainly because they were driving their sick mother to the hospital. I paid them $200.00 in check for the sc... 03 Dec 08, 02:12:49
Glastonbury: How long after incident do I have to file a police report?
I have been working at a veterinarian's office for about 4 months now. Over these four months I have noticed that the doctor I work for who owns the clinic has anger control issues. Any time he receives solicitor calls or junk mail he gets extremely upset and starts cursing. I was on the phone with one who was trying to sell us pharmaceutical products about a month ago and he grabbed my bicep and told me to hang up the phone. After I hung up the phone I told him how I didn't appreciate him grabbing my arm and asked him not to do it again. Well today I was talking to someone else on the phone and he didn't like the conversation and when I wasn't looking he shoved me from b... 03 Dec 08, 01:12:24

Glastonbury: How can i apply for...?
I applied for food stamps and cash assistance because I'm really in need of it right now. I don't plan at all to stay on it because as soon as I'm done breast feeding i plan to get a full time job. (i have a part time job now, but it's just not cutting it) so my problem is that my fiance is illegal. If i said that he lived here, would we automatically not qualify? because with us 3, both of our incomes together is less then the maximum gross income to be eligible, I'm just worried because hes illegal? should i say he doesn't live here and just get food stamps for me and baby? or can i get cash and food regardless if hes legal or not?... 03 Dec 08, 12:12:11

Glastonbury: Could you check my writing and correct my mistakes? - second part ?
it is a second part of my work. Thank you so much.
Licences and permits
Some types of businesses may need licences, permits or registrations to operate and sell good or provide services. Some licences for nightclubs are obvious but for example a business which sells food between the hours of 11pm and 5am need a late hours catering licence.
To create a great atmosphere in my coffee shop I want to play music for my customers however, it is not as simple as many people think because if I have the radio on and play music, I am breaking the law as I do not have their license to do so in public. To make sure I do not break the law I will have to pay the performing rights to the "... 02 Dec 08, 09:12:14
Glastonbury: Can my son's father grant me sole legal and physical custody with a notarized letter? is that legal?
My name is Yeny and I have a 2 yr old son. His father and I planned on getting married but due to different circumstances that never happened. My son has always lived with me. His father is very unreliable and can never keep a job for more then a few months. He contributes very little if at all financially. He shows very little interest on his son he more interested in having a relationship with me and not his son. We had a conversation in which I proposed that he grant me sole physical and legal custody. I told him he would not be financially responsible for him either. He agreed. Could this be done? And if we were to change his mind later down the road after he has already signed our son’... 02 Dec 08, 09:12:12
Glastonbury: Help! I moved to a new state and can't find a job!!!?
I couple months ago I moved across the country to be with my long-term boyfriend. Everything has been great, and it's been the best thing I ever did for myself except with one little glich... I can't find a job here! Luckily I had saved up a little money and my boyfriend has been very understanding and supporting me through it, but I obviously don't want to rely on him the way I am right now forever. I feel so guilty that I haven't been able to find a job.
My career goal is to be a paralegal. I have obtained an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and before I moved I worked in a law office for 2 years. I have an excellent resume - several professionals in my field h... 02 Dec 08, 08:12:53

An estimated 67,000,000 Americans, we are told, voted for Barack Hussein Obama on November 4, 2008. A landslide we are told; a mandate for change we are told.
The total population of the United States, according to the 2008 U.S. Census bureau estimates, is approximately 306,000,000. When we compare the number of votes for Obama to the total population, the percent who voted for Obama is 21.9%; hardly a mandate for change; certainly not a mandate for change of the type Comrade Obama has in mind.
In total, an estimated 130,000,000 Americans voted; ... 02 Dec 08, 07:12:36
