Glastonbury: Price Level Effect Question?
In Economy A, all workers agree in advance on the nominal wages that their employers will pay them. In Economy B, half of all workers have these nominal wage contracts, while the other half have indexed employment contracts, so their wages rise and fall automatically with the price level.
In which economy would an increase in the money supply have a larger impact on the price level?... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:27

I am letting my good friend take over my car payments until the lease is up in January of 2010. We agreed to have a written contract though. What should I put in it or how should I set it up? Any ideas would help. Also, should I have it nortarized or have some kind of witness sign it too? I know all the risk I am taking by doing this, so please, I do not need an answer telling me all of them.... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:51

c. only found outside the cell
d. stored in the endoplasmic reticulum

Glastonbury: Why so anti-union in regards to the Auto Industry?
As a UAW Ford hourly who doesn't get $70 hr, we have made big concessions on our last 2007 national contract, and wer'e about to give up our job bank as we speak. Tommorrow, the UAW is having a emergency meeting to discuss additional concessions when the union renegotiates our current contract. How come they keep sending assembly plants to Mexico, and call them American made? But what will our executives, managers, supervisors and salaried give up? As an insider, we have way too many chiefs in each facility. The auto industry and unions have brought so much to this country. Fair wages, lunch breaks, health benefits, equal employment labor rights, and provided military transportation... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:51
Glastonbury: Rent problems, tentants refuse to move out?
Our tenants refuse to move out, if we would them to, they demand that we pay them over 12x their monthly rent. We did not sign any contract. They have been renting for over 3 years now, almost 4 years. 7 months ago, we asked for a 2.5% increase in their rent, they refused to pay and payed their lower, usual amount. It was a year from the last rent increase, which they agreed to.
Now, we request that they leave, but they refuse unless we pay them 12x the amount of their usual monthly rent. What can we do?... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:59
Glastonbury: What has the Department of Energy accomplished in the last thirty one years?
Bottom line . . we've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency the reason for which not one person who reads will know or can recall. Ready? It was very simple, and at the time everybody thought it very appropriate. The Department of Energy was instituted 8-04-1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil! Pretty efficient, huh?
And now it is 2008, 31 years later and the budget for this necessary department is at $24.2 billion a year. They have 16,000 federal employees and approximately 100,000 contract employees and look at the the job they have done! Can you list some accomplishments or is this were we slap our forehead and say 'what were we thinking?... 03 Dec 08, 04:12:35
