Hi im a 15 year old lad and im looking to make some cash because i have looked for a job for months now and failed in getting one. Then i had an idea of making some leaflets and creating a lawn mowing business. I would be dedicated to it. I have this as a plan....
I have a note book with a booking table in to have a booked appointment also will advertise my service by putting leaflets in my local shop with maybe a poster and all so posting them through peoples doors in my area. I need help on how much to charge and things like that tell me what you think and any suggestions to help me thanks.

Glastonbury: Do I need a cover letter when dropping off my resume to a firm with no advertised openings?
I will be cold calling on some law firms just dropping off my resume..no advertised or wanted ads..just to let them know I am out here looking for a new position. Do I need a cover letter? Seems obvious to me why I am dropping it off. At my previous job, we got them all the time without a letter, just more to read..Also, how do I handle a follow up phone call..or should I do a short letter instead...Thanks!

Glastonbury: How can I get Bartending gigs? Help?
I had to recently figure what we can do to make extra money, so i decided on bartending school, i am almost through with the school and I have great personality and a lot of knowledge about drinks and making them. I just recently did 1 gig, a private party and I think that is what would work for me the best. I had to get a second job because we are on the verge of loosing our home, my husband works as well but he is a painting contractor and his business has been horrible, but he is working like 7 days a week so that we can make it. Any suggestions on how to go about advertising my Bartending services? I can't afford to pay for advertising....

Glastonbury: What are some options for a possible career?
I'm very interested with foreign languages and have made plans to learn arabic to land a job with the government. however I am seeing now that this will be really hard to do. So I want to major in something that will get me some money. I've thought about advertising but is foreign language even useful in that area? what are your thoughts. I do plan to become a teacher when I am older so i'm looking for something that can make me money that requires languages. Anything helps! I speak english spanish french and I am currently learning japanese....

Most advertised jobs (in Ontario, Canada) seem to be through placement agencies. Are they real, permanent full time jobs? How do these agencies work? Why don't companies hire engineers directly? Are these placement agencies legitimate?

im looking for a place to work like grocery stores ,restaurants etc. and i don't want to do any yard work ,babysitting ,dog walking , etc. i want a real job that pays and don't put anything that says i can't because i know i can i read the california labor law 1294.3 which states :
