So a retired police officer really isn’t looking for a huge pay load because they most likely have their pension, and students coming out of college are just looking for somewhere to start. According to salary.com, private investigators average between $25,000 and $56,000 a year. Earnings of private investigators vary greatly depending on their employer, specialty and the geographic area in which they work” (...

Germany: How should I control m anger/temper that I feel?
I know this is supposed to be the happiest season, but this is the most I've felt so down. For one thing, my dad got layed of from his job 3 months ago, and my mom found out that she'll get layed off from work too. And it makes me sad to see my parents soo stressed out. And when I go to school, (by the way my school has a lot of kids from high upper class families) I hear my friends with all their stupid problems and stress about boys and not being able to go to concerts etc. I just want to tell them what I'm going through, but my parents don't want me telling anyone what we're going through (cause they have high pride) Plus my b-day is coming soon, and not once in t...

Germany: What mental illness is this called.........?
What do you think of someone who feels like hurting someone physically who personally rejects them? (I'm not talking about rejection from getting a job because that type of rejection isn't personal) I'm talking about the type of rejection when her boyfriend dumps her, her friends leave her, if someone ignores her, or if someone doesn't want to be her friend. Why might she feel that way and what kind of mental illness is that called? (She says if she was invisible- she would burn them- because if she was invisible- nobody would see her do it!) Oh and she is NOT retarded- she was a bright student in school. But she's been depressed. And she also feels like hurting A...

Germany: Finding a technical writing job?
I am an Industrial Engineer, and one of my strongest points is my writing, especially when it is a technical paper. Are there any jobs available that pay well for technical writers, especially with the economy right now? I am afraid that I won't get a job at all when I graduate in Spring 2009 because a lot of companies are having hiring freezes (and I am not an honor roll student). Any advice would help, thanks!...
