Germany: Loans available for people who want to start up a small business but who do not have a job?
Hi I'm 17 and I want to start my own business which is going to be a small airport transfers business so a bus going from the airport to the eastern suburbs.
I was wondering if the bank would let me get a loan of say $6,000 max. So I can buy a van, pay for insurance and all the application fees, etc.
I've tried applying for a government grant but they said they don't give grants out to people starting up a business only for existing business owners.
I've had the odd job here and there but they haven't lasted more than 3 months and on the minimum wage.
Can anyone help??

Here is the situation, about a month ago I applied at a staffing agency for a position as a machinist apprentice. I was actually emailed by the agency to see if I still was looking for work. I said yes, went for a 1st interview and everything went well so they said. Later after no further emails I emailed them, they said they were having trouble getting a hold of my reference so I contacted him and he said yes they had got a hold of him. Germany: Best program to copy songs from iPod to computer?!?
I have an iPod touch that I'd like to copy songs off of. I am using Windows. I do NOT want to pay for a program, so please do not suggest TRIALS that wont allow me to get the whole job done!

Germany: Finding a technical writing job?
I am an Industrial Engineer, and one of my strongest points is my writing, especially when it is a technical paper. Are there any jobs available that pay well for technical writers, especially with the economy right now? I am afraid that I won't get a job at all when I graduate in Spring 2009 because a lot of companies are having hiring freezes (and I am not an honor roll student). Any advice would help, thanks!...

i wanna know why when you do a job application they ask for the hours that you are available but when you get the job they give you the hours they WANT you to work. I mean whats the point for that if they are going to give us whatever hours anyway?????...

Germany: Looking for town with college and good elementary teaching prospects.?
The situation is that I am pursuing an engineering degree with two years left. My fiance' is graduating this semester with a degree in elementary education. We currently live in Pittsburgh, PA and there are hundreds of applicants for every available job. Obviously you see that where I am going with this is that I am looking to find a town that has a college offering a bachelors in mechanical engineering and has a reasonable job market for elementary teachers.
