Germany: What can be making a creaking sound in the crawl space between the bedroom ceilings and the roof?
We hear a creaking sound like groaning wood or a crackling wood floor in the partially insulated crawl space above us, especially at night and in the early mornings. We know it isn't an animal, it sounds as if there is some expanding or contracting of the wood. We have a new (less than one year old) roof and some residual gravel from the previous roof as well as partially blown in insulation up there. What gives?...

Germany: Verizon New every two question?
So I am currently enrolled in the new every two program and am a little more than a year into my contract. I really want a new phone now. Before my contract is up. Is it possible for me to resign my contract (for another two years) to get a new phone now? To have my cycle start over now so I can get a new phone with out having to pay the full retail price? Or do I have to wait until my actual contract date....

Germany: Meditation techniques?
I do contract work and I occasionally find myself working a ridiculous amount of consecutive hours that leaves me irritable, worn-out and non-productive.
It was suggested to me that I should take up meditation to help with stress and mental clarity.
Can anyone suggest a good start? routine? books or sites that they have personally found useful?

Germany: HELP! - Bought a Used Car (Shady Dealer) - Can they make me do this?
So I purchased a used car recently and let me tell you it was a complete headache. I thought I played my cards just right, but the day I went to actually buy the car....the saleman pulled a my manager said he will not sell the car at that price....it's hot....he must be getting more money for it....bs ...bs...bs scam .... they boosted the price on me by $600.... I loved the car... and I was in a situation coming from a car accident...so I needed to buy a car as the rental had to be returned the next day....
so I sit down in the finance office and the guy pulls up my credit and gives me a lower credit score then it actually is....saleman tells me it's 699.... finance ...

Germany: Nokia 5300 - what does it mean ?
I looked on the manual, and it says the little G on the top left corner means a GPRS or EGPRS connection is established. I'm set up with a sidekick plan so i have the internet on my contract, but it normally only works with sidekicks. but on my sidekick, the G means that the internet is connected. the only way to get on the internet with this Nokia 5300 is to use t-zones and when i try to do that it says i have to set up t-zones on my account which is $6 extra a month, when i already have internet.
so does the little G on this phone mean i'm connected to the internet?
or am i doomed to use the internet until i use my sidekick again?...

Germany: I was answered after the interview, but, what does this means. Can anyone please tell me...?
I applied for a federal employment. I went through the first resume & questions screening process and I was appointed for a telephone interview. After the interview, the interviewer asked for my e-mail and told me I would be receiving a mobility contract by (she told me the name of the person).
Anyone that has filed and obtained a federal employment out there... does this means that I passed the interview? Or do they do this to everyone? Please... I would really like to know, this is a very important issue of my life. I know you may not know 100% but I would like to know if anyone went through the same, and what happened. Thank you.
