Germany: Loans available for people who want to start up a small business but who do not have a job?
Hi I'm 17 and I want to start my own business which is going to be a small airport transfers business so a bus going from the airport to the eastern suburbs.
I was wondering if the bank would let me get a loan of say $6,000 max. So I can buy a van, pay for insurance and all the application fees, etc.
I've tried applying for a government grant but they said they don't give grants out to people starting up a business only for existing business owners.
I've had the odd job here and there but they haven't lasted more than 3 months and on the minimum wage.
Can anyone help??
Thanks heaps!... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:58

Germany: I drove away the love of my life!?
I have been overwhelmed with a lot of pressures from different angles, I left my job and moved back home (IL) until I could resolve some things in my life. My bf is from Cali, I'm from the midwest and he came with me to be at my side through everything. I was dealing with custody of my daughter, which lead to me becoming very deeply depressed.
Well, about 2 months after being in the midwest, going through court precedings and ill-treatment from my ex and his family and absolutely no support from family here, I just became very withdrawn, cold and closed up. My bf and I were raising my daughter with wonderful love and support from his and my family out in Cali. I sent her for a sched... 01 Dec 08, 10:12:34

I am interested to get a job abroad (United Arab Emirates) in airport or in an office. Which are the genuine websites which help me to find a job and do you think that I will get a job with my experience and in which field. Do I have to do anything else to get a job?... 01 Dec 08, 12:12:04
Germany: Is business management a pointless major?
I am applying to college this year and was going to major in business management until one of my friends, who is in college, told me it was a pointless major which wouldn't get me a job with a substantial income after i graduated. One of my dad's friends also said that it wasn't really that great unless you specialized in a specific field i.e. airport management. After undergrad school i want to get my MBA, but I've heard that your undergrad major doesn't have to be in business for you to get a MBA. Now i am wondering whether majoring in business management would be pointless since it seemingly won't get me a job with a good income after i graduate. And i don... 30 Nov 08, 10:11:02
Germany: Is being an air traffic controller worth looking into as a possible career choice?
First off, I DO NOT want to be rich. I only require to live in the NJ/NY area.
I am in high school and am doing fine right now.
Basically, as long as I can afford a nice house (under 1M) and a nice car (like a used Mercedes) my life will be fine. Haha, in all seriousness though, that is really all I want. A nice job with a comfortable salary and a nice pension for when I decide to retire.
I am really interested in aviation. However, I have a lazy eye so I cannot become a pilot.
Some people have pointed me in the way of air traffic controlling. I have heard this is arguably one of the BEST if not, THE best job you can get without a college degree.
Now, bear in mind, it is no p... 30 Nov 08, 04:11:53

Germany: could my cousin be arrested for this?
My cousin works at an airport (Richmond international in virginia) and his job is to take and weigh the luugage being checked at curbside. He tells me that when a person is rude to him, which isnt very often due to the simplicity of the process, he will simply send the persons bags to a different city instead of their destination. For example, he told me he had a lady the other week who pitched a fit at him because of traffic, which he obviously cant control. he sent her bags to st louis, although she was going to atlanta. And last night a lady was going to Dallas and he sent her bags to Indianapolis cause she was rude. he says there are three people there doing bags at a time so theres no w... 30 Nov 08, 05:11:18
Germany: How educated are you on political issue in South Africa?
Best response I have ever read for 'Apartheid' - South Africa
This was a reply to an article, in the South African Mercury Newspaper (last week), where the previously disadvantaged
(Black people) stated that it's not too late for the previously advantaged (including whites, Indians and Coloreds) to apologies for apartheid. Check out the reply. Just too hot and so true.Did anyone read the paper last week (Mercury) Where the main headline stated the following? It's not too late for whites to say sorry for Apartheid...... ........Check the email that went around responding to the headline. It's a kick a$$ response!!!
