Gatwick: Resume help, do I include my current job?
I'd like to send out resumes to a bunch of graphic design places in different states esp. florida. I have a current job in graphic design and I wouldn't want to leave till the summer which would give me a year at my current job. My question is do I include my current job on resumes I send out now, I think I should but will they call them, cause I don't want my current job to know i'm looking for a change of scenery....

Gatwick: Which graduate program for Marketing/Advertising is the best?
Hello, I recently graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and am currently considering graduate school. I would like to break free from the world of production work and move more towards creative director side of things. I assume a masters in advertising is a good way to do this?
I'm having a little trouble gathering info on the various programs, so hopefully someone can shed some light on it for me. Which schools have good reputations and will be the most likely to help me get a job post graduation. Also, I am seriously considering Europe for my masters, what kind a reputation/connotations do these schools have compared with the states? Are the degrees equivalent or is the 1 year eu...

Just left Uni, with a degree in Illustration. Gatwick: How has job searching changed in today's economy?
I'm a Graphic Design senior and am in a class for seniors. In class, we are addressing the upcoming job search all of us will soon be facing as Graphic Designers.
My teacher pointed out that this year, helping students find jobs will be much different because, due to the economy, it's really a whole new ball game .
So what I'm wondering is, how has job searching changed in today's economy? Both in general, and in regards to Graphic Design/the arts and job availability.
I know it's not an easy question - any help and resources would be EXTREMELY helpful.

I have an associates degree in general studies, and I have background in graphic design and art. I'm great with computers,people, animals, and children. I have a substitute teaching certificate, and I'm a really hard worker. I don't have a lot of work experience, but I'm completely willing to be trained at anything. Just moved to Brooklyn NY... ready to work. I have worked fast food, retail, and factory/warehouse work before in Ohio. But haven't worked for a year because I went back to college to finish my Graphic Design programs.
