Gatwick: accountancy - info about the career?
it's a job i've been considering given the pay is said to be good, it doesn't seem too stressful (no targets, etc) and it seems (at least vaguely) relavent to my degree...
i'd like some more info about the job itself, how to start out...i know there are official exams to be taken but is it usual to get companies to sponsor you through these exams/employ you whilst you do them...? what could i expect as a starting salary? am i right in saying it's not very stressful?

It's a job which has been suggested to me and I'd like to know a bit more about it...
is it stressful? what's the pay like (especially starting salary)? what are some big companies? is it earn as you learn or are you expected to fund yourself whilst doing the training? are there official exams to be taken like with accountancy?

Gatwick: Looking for Job for accountant/ auditor/ tax / finance in London, UK?
Hi,
I'm an ACCA Affiliate with over 18 months practical experience + 12 months accountancy experience in retail. I am currently working at a small/medium firm where I feel my potential is not being reached. I am therefore looking to move on to a new role with a lot more responsibilities and better prospects. However I have found agencies are a complete waste of time.
Hence I need advice on the best way to find this new job/role in anything from Accountancy/Auditing to Taxation or Finance related - given the scope of ACCA, I am well rounded in all of those fields.
I am looking to work in a large organisation with naturally a salary that matches my experience.

Gatwick: I don't know what myself really want!?
You know i'm going college soon, there are a lot of courses available for me to take up. But i really don't know what myself really want! I like designing, but hate drawing and looking at computer. As for business studies i'm kind into it, because i'm more to studies kind,i mean i wants to study more then drawing, but people told me business studies like accountancy is so call a very boring job. But what people told me is what i study now, doesn't mean in future my job was the one i study is it true? my real dream is to become a singer or a air hostess :D i'm too greedy XD...

Gatwick: Confused about careers!?
I have a passion for music. I do 3 instruments and singing lessons, and have reached high grades in all of them with ABRSM. I am currently doing, Welsh Language, Welsh Literature, English Language, English Literature, Maths, Double Science, History, Music, I.T, Business and Astronomy for GCSE's.
For my A-level I am definitely doing music, maybe maths, maybe Business, and not sure about my 4th yet.
My dream would be to do BA, MA and PHD in music, but with music being so competitive, I would not like to be a musician, just a music teacher or lecturer.

I am 18, male and I am having a really difficult time deciding which profession to take. Accounting or Culinary Arts. I love to cook but I am not good or bad at it. Let's say that what I cook is edible. Then, I want to have my own business someday so I guess a bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Business Management will help.

allthese days i was in husbands visa and this company requires me to change in to company visa.do i need any degree certificates for this?does my diploma qualification will be a problem when transfering visa in freezone?this company didnt check my certificates even,they just kept an exam and selected.so i'm worried.after joinning when the visa change proceedure starts in freezone and if i dont have a degree certificate what will happen?will they fire?please reply...
