France: How do I make it alone?
My husband and I have been married for almost six years. He has been drinking for most of it. I have kicked him out before, but always taken him back for love, for money, etc. I have never lived alone. I have two children and no job. We live in a very small town with very little opportunity- our restaurants aren't even hiring. How do I make it? I don't won't to take him back. I have just called his sister to come and get him in the middle of the night before things got uglier- he came home drunk and spent two hours insulting me. For once, I got help before it went any further. What am I supposed to do? How am I going to pay the bills? I am so scared....

France: home loan pre approval and underwriting help!?
I'm in the process of buying a house with my husband (he's the only one on the loan)....we were pre approved for a VA loan with the automated underwriting system.Our loan is about to go through underwriting and we're suppose to close next week, I'm terrified we'll be denied because we tried to buy a house last year with an FHA loan and got denied the day of closing because the LO jerked us around.I'm very confident with our current loan officer but I cant shake this feeling that we'll be denied(maybe I'm just being negative) We haven't bought a new car,run up our credit,lost a job,ect.....I guess I'm worried because I forgot to pay my credit ...

well, to cut a long story short, i got to know this guy in my class only on the last 2 weeks of school though we've been classmates for 3 months.
