Hi all, I have just started a new job as a researcher (market research), after a year of working on two business magazines as a staff writer.
I am feeling very confused because even though I have only been at this new job a few days and the learning pace is very gentle, I feel exhausted and emotionally drained. When I started, I had another newbie colleague as well, and I am starting to have negative thoughts that she is doing better than me - she seems to remember things we were told that I don't, gets what our colleagues are talking about while I'm still lagging behind, and just seems to be catching on faster.

I'm hoping to go on a student exchange trip in August of next year, as this is my last chance to go on a student exchange trip as I am almost in my last year of school.
All up the trip is going to cost about $15000, including my personal spending money and preparations for the trip.
