Folkestone: Should I write a thank you letter for an interview at a company where I currently volunteer?
I am an intern at a very large bi-coastal PR firm in the L.A. office. There is a part-time position opening up which I will be applying for later today. I'm just curious wheither I should give a thank you letter to HR manager once I've given her my latest version of my resume or not. Is that necessary? Also, if you have any other suggestions for me that would be great! I really want the job but don't want to seem to eager. Thanks for you help!!! Oh! Folkestone: i'm 17 years old and got a job 3 months ago at sears. I only get about 12 hrs/week and $8/hr. Should i quit...?
....and find another job that will give me at least 20 hours a week? What place would you recommend (excluding fast food joints)? btw, the reason i need more hours is so i can save about 7 thousand dollars in less than a year in order to buy professional video equipments and start working as a videographer/filmmaker (my real passion.)
