Folkestone: so are you telling me every cop should be fired for not doing there job?
i got pulled over today for tinted windows on my sport truck. a Michigan state police officer told me that your not allowed to have tint more then 4 inchs down on the front side windows. for more then the last 2 years i have lived in the middle of 3 police stations. gone and payed the water bill and parked right out side the police headquarters for 20 mins or more. pull up to red lights next to a county sheriff. stopped and asked directions to unformed officers. NEVER NEVER EVER did any one of them say a thing about the tint. you can see the dash and radio and people inside clearly.
why after seeing 3-4 cops aday for the last 2 years do i get pulled over driving 65 in a 70 on the... 02 Dec 08, 06:12:41

Folkestone: He's 10 yrs older and from out of town...does it have a chance?
I line dance at a hotel bar near where I live and there are the regulars and then the hotel guests that check out the country scene. Anyway one night a quiet southern man got up the nerve to talk to me and we hit it off…needless to say he didn’t get my # bc I guess we didn’t think to ask each other…I felt bad thinking id never see him again and I liked him…anyway about a month and a half later he turned up…as he was driving to a job site and happened to go thru town…and well he stopped to see if he could find me…which impressed me … he came back later that week and stuff went down but we have continued to talk. Now a few weeks ago he came thru town on work again, and made a... 02 Dec 08, 05:12:29

Folkestone: Microsoft Excel thinking for me, help?
I use microsoft excel at work constantly. About 2 weeks ago it all of the sudden started thinking for me. For example when I highlight something it will just delete it before I even click anything or tell it to do anything with the highlighted area (most of the time I don't want to delete it). It will also do other strange things like unhighlight without me telling it to or unhide things without me telling it to. I know excel does not normally behave like this because it never did before. I have changed out the mouse and that did nothing. I was wondering if my computer somehow got set up under a setting that I can undo to return it to normal. Please help this is drivi... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:08
Folkestone: Help with a control freak?
I started dating this woman about 2 years ago. She is currently finishing a masters degree at a university on the other side of canada (to which I left my job and followed her). I love this woman very much, but am having incredible difficulty dealing with her controlling attitude. She is constantly asking me about how productive I am with my free time, and informing me she will not date someone who does not have a degree . I am not university material, but I decided I would try it. On my accord as much as hers. I wasnt capable, and began failing in my second semester of first year, it upset me quite a bit, I dropped out, and am now having to pay back my loans.
She constantly te... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:51
Folkestone: I'm nervous to quit my job, please help?
I've been working at my job for just over a year. My fiance applied for a job about a day's drive away to make really good, quick money, just for a year. We recently found out he got the job and his start date is December 29th.
I really love my job, but I feel like it's more important for me to support my fiance and move with him. Plus I wouldn't want to only see him on the weekends. I don't know how to tell my job I have to quit. In a year we are planning on moving back here so I want to let my job know it's just temporary without making it look like I expect them to hold my job for me, because I know that's not always possible. But I want to let them k... 02 Dec 08, 04:12:12
Folkestone: How do I get my fatso of a work colleague of mine to stop asking me for my food?
It drives me crazy. I'm new in this job (I temp) and at the start, I'd offer her my food and offer anything that comes out of my handbag: chewing gum, baby wipes you name it I offered it, because that's me. Now, she keeps asking me for my food, rather than let me offer her any. How can I deal with this politely? I don't want to have to keep going to the bathroom to eat - I should be able to eat without being asked for my food! I only ever eat mixed nuts and dried fruit and she grabs a whole handful (which are expensive), but she never offers me her sandwiches, or chocolate.... 02 Dec 08, 02:12:09
Folkestone: Is it possible to still find someone to be with if you have a stack of life problems that you can't fix?
I'm 27 now and have over the years acquired in some way or another problems I can't fix. There are so many they really don't give me enough room to tell you about all of them. Some are and include the fact that I can't drive anymore do to an identity theft issue. I have no family left alive. I have to live under my work so I can get here everyday. If not then I wouldn't be able to feed myself. There really isn't any kind of advancement in my life because of these problems. People laugh and tell me to just fix them. When I ask them for help they either have an excuse for not helping me or they try to help and end up with the same results I've been getting fo... 02 Dec 08, 02:12:09
