Folkestone: All I really want is to be a good wife and a good mother?
I'm 22 years old. I have been married for 1 year. My husband is a cop. I attended a good college on a full scholarship for 2 years with a 3.95 GPA. I stopped attending college temporarily, then I started working as a nursing assistant, and I wanted to evaluate my life. Honestly, all I want is to be a good wife, a good mother, and a writer. I'm a naturally domestic person; I love to cook, clean, cater to guests, etc. I also want to be a mother, very much so. My husband and I want kids, and we were trying, but I had a miscarriage very early on. Essentially, I took the pregnancy test, it came out positive, then we went to our doctor to confirm the pregnancy, and two days l... 01 Dec 08, 08:12:58

Folkestone: Obama a good president?
Okay so u all know hes our new president. Honestly, in my opinion(please dont be offended), Obama won because he tells the american people what they want. Things things they want are things like better automotive fuel efficent standards, pulling out of war, better this and better that, which will mostly benefit the people. Honestly who the hell cares what the people want? Its important for people to have what they desire, however, its not a presidents job to satisfy peoples needs, his job is to lead a country and strive in everthing(economy, military ect). I want a president who will make the u.s. a better country. Not a president who wants to cater my personal needs. I recently read an arti... 27 Nov 08, 07:11:44
Folkestone: Why bother cleaning up your own vomit, right?! UGH!!?
My husband was violently ill over the weekend and I spent almost two hours cleaning it from our bathroom, ceiling to floor. I understood he was feeling unwell and cleaned it up for him. However, the carpet at the edge of our bathroom needed to be seriously cleaned with our Green Machine after my initial cleaning and he said he would take care of that himself.
Well, two days later, he finally got to it. It really was a half-a*s*s job and the carpet (and the air) smells like cleaner and vomit together. He thinks it smells fine . This is why 99.9% of the cleaning is on my shoulders in our home.
Anyways, tonight I mentioned that it really stinks. He says, Ok."... 27 Nov 08, 01:11:31

Folkestone: How do you stop mothering your husband?
My husband grew up in a family of three girls, himself, and his mother. He had a stepdad, but he went to jail ten years ago. His father is divorced from his mother. My husband was the man of the house even at a young age. He had to watch his younger sisters while his mom dated and worked. His mom was never there for him, she didn't protect him or teach him any commonsense. He got his girlfriend pregnant at 14!!! She aborted and his mom threw him out of the house because he was a problem. I do everything I can for my husband and my daughter. I cook, clean, cater to their every need. My husband likes to bring me 10 Qtips after his shower and asks that I clean his ears (he forc... 25 Nov 08, 05:11:44
